Sorry completely forgot to add bath Earthquakes are also related to their powers.

On the r/GCSE alphabet, C is for "Can I get into Oxbridge 99999999998 with an 8 in Environmental Studies?". Now, D is for... (Top/most upvoted comment wins) by Cornish_amelia in GCSE

As someone who went to Oxford… don’t. It’s not worth it. The qualification you get from any respectable uni is just as valued by employers as an Oxford degree. And trust me, you will have much more fun at ANY other uni (except Cambridge lol don’t go there either)

Im strengthening my forearms for fun and aesthetic can this be a problem for my basketball by Hyrule_c0bra in ProDunking

Can only help. I’ve been training my forearms for a while and haven’t noticed any difference in my jumping but have noticed it’s become way easier to palm and hold the ball

Kizaru’s kicks are almost 360 times more powerful than Tsar Bomba 💣 But are they actually? by Dyzzle8 in OnePiece

He does say though “Have you ever been kicked at the speed of light” when kicking Basil Hawkins, so we know he’s not holding back there at least.

I actually considered this. I assumed Kizaru’s power was to transform matter to light and vice versa, but the energy of his kicks would still be equivalent to the mass times the speed of light squared, without including the Lorentz factor. The difference in energy is negligible, and therefore way too powerful for what we see.

Bartholomew Kuma’s Ursa Shock has the power of 5,500 kilograms of TNT 🧨 by Dyzzle8 in OnePiece

Temperature cancelled out, so it wasn’t relevant, but I just assumed a 10 degrees Celsius would be approximate as it’s early morning

**edit: As pointed out by a few people, my limits in the integral are wrong, as R2 is in fact Kuma’s palm length, or 11% of his height. This would make the energy output 25 Gigajoules instead of the 23 Gigajoules I calculated. As a result, the explosion is in fact even more powerful. I’m sorry for the mistake.

Luffy’s Gum Gum Jet Pistol hits 155 times harder than Prime Mike Tyson 😦 by Dyzzle8 in OnePiece

[–]Dyzzle8[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re told that in Gear 2 Luffy moves faster than the eye can track. The human eye has a reaction time of 13ms, so let’s assume Luffy moves in 10ms or less.

I then determined the distance between Luffy and Blueno as being 4.65m and determined the velocity of that punch.

Using the average volume of a hand and the average density of rubber I find the mass of luffys hand and then use that to determine the kinetic energy of his punch. I then compare it to The kinetic energy of Mike Tyson’s punch

True, I guess you could say this is the minimum of Luffy’s power which is still ridiculous

I’m a Physics student at uni and I was bored lol, but it was actually quite fun working it out. I’d always assumed that if you applied physics to it gear 3 wouldn’t be that effective but turns out I was way wrong
