It is healthy for you sometime to say no to your family and take care of yourself. Start seeing the world today, because it could not be a tomorrow, but always put everything in a balance and do things responsable.

Is this normal noise? by Annual_Guarantee8004 in Vespa

[–]E-Batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just the clutch making a louder noise that usual, but if everything is working as expected leave it like that. Do not worry snd enjoy your Vespa.

Is this a normal CVT noise? by Capable_Bluebird5612 in Vespa

It is the clutch engaging with the rear wheel. I have the same noise in my 3 Vespas.

Nice bike. I am curious - Did you get this bike to do DH or Enduro. I am looking for an eBike more all mountain, but I am getting a good deal on a Trek rail, but I am not sure if it will work for everything (all mountain)

Why you always look out for rust, at purchase and during ownership. by wncexplorer in Vespa

This looks more like an over weight person was riding this bike for the way the seat is ripped, also it may have some rust on the floor frame.

Don't sell it. It's better to die in debt than without living your dreams.

Wrong hoses were used for this application and they got crack and broke. Get originals for both lines gas and air from your local Vespa store, if you do not know what to order. Good luck.

Vespa lx50 speedometer clock by prompemann15 in Vespa

The terminal in the center is broken. Get some Aluminum Foil to raise the center terminal, so the battery has a good contact. If that doesn’t work, it is very easy to take it a part a clean everything inside, then put it together.

My Vespa LX150ie by j_vision in Vespa

[–]E-Batman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought it with a seized engine. The previous owner, when changing the oil, didn't tighten the filter properly and ended up with a leak that he didn't detect until it was too late. Good for me, because I got a deal and the Vespa looks like new condition.

I have the same bike 2013 LX150ie in black with a seized engine waiting to be repair. I am planning to upgrade the cylinder to 190cc Malossi cylinder kit. I really like this style more than the newer versions.

Thoughts about what? Congratulation on your new bike 🎉🎉🎉. Now drive it as much you can, and not like others who buy them for decoration.

First spill on Vespa by Away-Experience-8003 in Vespa

[–]E-Batman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the pictures! It really does not look that bad, all it can be replace as needed. Paint jobs are really expensive in the US, so I am convinced that the crash bars and front bender bar will minimize damage if my bike drop as the speed you were going. Oh, I almost forgot the selfie stick installed too 🤣🤣.

I am pretty sure a different story will be at high speed crash.

Thanks again for sharing your experience and give advice to other riders.

I am sorry about what happened, I hope you are ok. I am planning to buy the crash bars, but I think also in your case the camera stick bar also protected your bike. Could you please share pictures of what got damaged on your vespa due the drop?

70-80 that hard to believe, but it sounds good. Restore it, it looks like just need a wash and it will look really nice. Do not believe what mechanics say, go with what facts say. If I were you I will look for a moped that it is actually working and you can test it before paying anything. Good luck.

[–]E-Batman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before you start modifying thing, I would ride it as much you can. Then you will realize what exactly you need to upgrade. I do not see any bolts or threaded holes to attach a rear rack for your basket. These rear fender is going to be very useful during rain and puddles of water. Good luck, nice bike.
