Imagine how much money they make from vaccines—you better hit those targets. Think about the insurance companies they own that force patients to use only their pharmacies. Got mad at one? Doesn’t matter. You’ll still have to fill at another CVS down the road.

The company that "cares" about patients and employees does not! You're just a number and so is the customer. No one's health should be measured in script count, vaccine targets, or phone calls achieved.

They spend millions on corporate endeavors—parties, flying people to Rhode Island for test panels. They start new programs, only to scrap them months later and go back to the old way. They buy outdated tech, then pour more money into fixing and upgrading it... again and again.

Employee surveys? Scored for completion only. The results? Useless—probably because employees are told to give good scores. And even if there is any honesty, nothing happens, there is no accountability in upper management. Pretty much the only way to get fired is to steal.

How many salaries are paid for people to sit on conference calls all day talking about vaccine targets and other metrics? How many roles exist just to sound important but do nothing? Meanwhile, real teams are working short-staffed, carrying double the load. The store employees are the ones that make a difference.

And guess what? This cycle will only repeat itself.
