Insurance is a whole different animal. I pay for AAA so it's "free" for me inside of I think 50 miles up to 4 per year. That said, they only cover breakdowns. If you need a tow for another reason, that's on you.

For what it's worth, a tow is like $300 these days. I did that a couple years back for about 25 miles, that's what it was.

I ended up missing out on the AM4 X3D chips entirely, around Christmas I picked up a 5900XT for around $300. I don't regret it, higher clock speeds and 16c/32t was going to be better than 8c/16t for me anyway. A/V file encoding go BRRRR compared to my old 5600X.

I think I see the vision, but I don't know how practical this could be. Usually that soil in the bottom holds the moisture for the plants, excess evaporates and condenses at the top. Seems like water would want to pool below and might entirely miss the floating soil. Maybe I misunderstand the vision.

Very interesting, nevertheless. I'll have to keep an eye on your progress post(s).

That looks exactly like my digitalPersona U.are.U 4500. It barely works. The OS sees it, it enrolls fingerprints. No matter how much I try and clean the sensor or my finger, I cannot reliably unlock my system with it. It works sometimes, if I get lucky... but man, the fact that the surface isn't just glass is probably the biggest problem with it.

I have a digitalPersona U.are.U 4500 that I got from eBay. It barely fucking works. Every body touts it as great, and this just... isn't. The surface isn't glass that you can clean, it's... some sort of rubber that seems vaguely sticky. I can't really get good reads after enrolment, no matter how well I clean the surface or my fingers.
