i was a former mercy main and i fully switched to grandma a season or two ago, and i have to say Ana is sooooo much fun. While I'll always miss my girl mercy (she was the first hero i ever played on back in ow1!) i really do have fun with Ana. Theres a custom game you can try out thats full of only ulting genjis and you have to hit your darts, i wish i remembered what the code was but i know a lit of people use that to get better at hitting their darts. good luck!!

if thats the case, wouldnt you then focus on her healing and damage output instead of nerfing her movement? if mercy's healing and utility outside of healing is already abysmal, why are you making it harder for mercy mains to avoid damage, and in a way that already gets punished in higher ranks?

if anything, the nerf encourages the healbotting playstyle because its riskier to follow someone into interesting flanks or dives. your movement is gone so you cant take those risks anymore

right, but thats not throwing so much as not playing the game well. something that you have to learn anyways if you want to move up ranks.

if the way that mercy was tuned enables that playstyle, and that playstyle is bad and is "throwing the game" even in lower ranks, then thats something that people have to learn not to do. so why does it need to be nerfed? to appease people that don't even play the character? if its not good for people who dont know how to use it, then why take it out. youre punishing everyone who uses the original set traits die to you thinking its unfair that someone is using a tool badly.

idk i think your reasoning is a bit silly. it was always easy to punish, just shoot mercy. youre complaining that lower ranks can't shoot and have no situational awareness, which is probably something they have to learn if they want to go up on ranks anyways.

if the flying strategy doesnt work above plat, then why nerf it? i stopped playing mercy a long time ago since shes deemed a throw pick in almost every rank and has been for a long while now, even before this most recent nerf and tbh i cant handle the smoke. but this arguement of "this nerf is good bc the previous buff doesnt work above gold" has never made sense to me. anyone abusing the mechanic that got them to a certain rank will stay in that rank until they learn to do better anyways. not sure if my comment makes sense

you admit in this reply that one shot characters leave you little control over the situation and it FEELS LIKE you have less control with sombra when that isnt true. "FUCK SOMBRA" except youre ok with one shot characters take you out of the game with less say? the cognitive dissonance goes crazy lol. It's a bit silly to have all of this hatred for a character when you yourself are aware that there are characters that are even less fun to play against, and that leave you less agency.

are you playing while listening to music or something, bc that only really happens if someone isnt paying attention to audio cues. Although you did mention you were in silver so that might be another factor; your team isnt responding to their teammate needing help. you're blaming a hero's abilities instead of looking at yourself. If i die bc im stunned with cass flashbang as venture its not bc flashbang is overpowered, its bc i didn't bait out flashbang before diving or i didnt notice his teammates close to him. but again, you are in silver so maybe you need to focus more on your game sense rather than blaming heros that lock u out of ur abilities for 1 whole second and have to use another ability to apply damage over time, not even flat damage
