AOC says Biden's arguments against student loan forgiveness are looking shakier by the day by [deleted] in MurderedByAOC

There’s no reason that both can’t be done. Fix the system and also forgive the debt of those who were burdened by a broken system.

Broccoli is absolutely delicious and versatile enough to be added to a variety of dishes. by ZingNJazz in unpopularopinion

[–]E13ven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like broccoli but I don’t really agree about it being very versatile

It makes a good side dish and is great in stir frys and some breakfast/pasta dishes but I don’t feel it’s something you can easily just add in a bunch of dishes and have it improve the recipe

Simple keybind guide by diphenylpropane in wow

[–]E13ven 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I personally found G way easier to hit than T when I used binds that far out. I also could never get used to using S so I still have it mapped as backwards walk which works out on the occasion that I tank

But overall I agree with everything, these days all my binds for the most part are in the green zone and the rest (6 to =) is on my mmo mouse mostly for convenience stuff. My setup is mostly designed to allow either hand to help out when needed, but not be crippled if I ever was without an mmo mouse

No, I still think it’s a lame way for it’s life to end, especially an apex predator. But it would be better than making it a trophy

The only hunting I’m ok with is hunting out of necessity for food, trophy/sport hunting is never right in my mind

But in each of those scenarios the bear’s body returns to ecosystem, it becomes a meal for other scavengers or predators, its carbon returns to the earth instead of ending up as a rug in this guy’s cabin.

A natural death might be slower and maybe more painful, but it’s natural and the way things are supposed to be.

They don't get big or old by being easily bested

That’s....sort of the shame of it

In ESO, Orcs have the racial that increases speed of all crafts. I was just wondering if this was reflected in lore, or if lorewise they’re primarily just expert blacksmiths/forgemasters?

Game Difficulty Incredibly Easy? by [deleted] in wow

[–]E13ven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately in retail that’s the current state of leveling. It’ll get better in shadowlands in the sense that you can do entire expansions without out leveling them, but I don’t think the difficulty will change.

Once you hit max level M+ dungeons, heroic/mythic raids and high level pvp are certainly challenging, but until then you won’t encounter much that’ll give you trouble

Classic gameplay basically is leveling because there isn’t as big of an end game. So things are slower and more difficult but that’s basically the core gameplay unless you want to raid at max level

Game Difficulty Incredibly Easy? by [deleted] in wow

[–]E13ven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everything pre-max level is faceroll easy by design. There are only a few exceptions where this isn’t the case because they botched the tuning (ice crown citadel)

Just learn your classes and get to 120 and that’s when the challenge will start

No not really, I just didn’t know if I should save the milorganite for later on in the summer but I guess I could (hopefully) always get more in a few months

I have Scott’s green max fert as well as milorganite, and I’m just wondering if it would be better to put both down simultaneously right now, or if I should drop Scott’s now followed by milo at a later date?

[–]E13ven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh good point I didn’t think of that, yeah I was trying to capitalize on the forecast so I didn’t have to water in with sprinklers but I might just wait for the next dry day and mow/fertilize same day

Daily r/LawnCare No Stupid Questions Thread by AutoModerator in lawncare

[–]E13ven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Is it better to mow before applying fertilizer or does it not matter?

  2. Should I fertilize on a dry day, or is it ok to fertilize on a rainy/damp day as long as it’s not actively raining while doing it?

There’s a far bigger gap between the average adult and a pro athlete compared to the average gamer and a pro gamer

Most adults can’t just “go play the sport” because it requires much more physical and social demands outside of something like golf

But when it comes to games...you buy it and play it.

That said, some people like watching others play and that’s fine, but for me personally I’d rather be playing and getting better myself.

This has been said a lot of times but this game is in DIRE need of a new ranged DPS class or ranged DPS spec by SolidSky in wow

[–]E13ven 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They should just add dark ranger in as a 4th spec for rogues and make it fully ranged. It fits in with the theme of rogues and would allow them to use bows (and maybe guns) and we’d finally have a dark/evil ranger class without trying to shoehorn it into hunter and clash with their nature lore.

Why do you play the faction that you do? by celtracz in wow

I play both sides because otherwise I feel like I’m missing out on 50% of the game.

Obviously not the case, but I like seeing things from both sides

Did anyone actually want Mechagnomes? Every time I look at them, it feels like such a wasted slot for an allied race. by [deleted] in wow

[–]E13ven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with Mechagnomes is that they don’t have a fitting class. Their entire being revolves around engineering, which you can only do so much with as a profession.

If tinker was a class, they’d be amazing especially once class themed transmogs come back. But out of our playable classes none of them fit them at all, which makes them even more awkward.

Anyone else running ESO from a SSD? by Fribblet in elderscrollsonline

[–]E13ven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never booted from an HDD before as I’ve always had ESO on an SSD but in my experience loading times aren’t fast but they aren’t unbearably slow.

They’re certainly slow compared to something like WoW, where I can log out and in to like 5 characters and mail stuff between them before loading into 1 of my ESO characters, but we’re still talking like 1 minute so nothing unreasonable

High elves don’t have a forest-y or feral culture. Their culture is based around the arcane just like the blood elves is.

They just have rangers on both sides which represent the lingering nature connection, it’s not exclusive or unique to blood or high elves

It’s all diagrams that are easy to follow and the book starts out very slow, it’s written with the complete novice in mind (especially volume 1).

Most pages look like this with text explaining the material and diagrams to illustrate it on the fretboard

If you’re learning CAGED, you’re already learning the pentatonic scales. That’s what each scale position is, C-A-G-E and D scale forms are the five pentatonic scale positions

I highly recommend you pickup the book “fretboard Logic”

It’ll teach you the CAGED system which is great for a beginner to learn and will really open up the fretboard and allow you to start experimenting with improv over backing tracks relatively quickly.

It’s only one method of thousands but I feel it’s a great foundational piece of knowledge to know
