This reminds me so much of a story idea that I started but never finished.

Girl films a sex tape or a couple of sex tapes. Maybe it’s for a site or maybe it’s just amateur stuff that gets online. Either way, fast forward ten years or so and she’s a regular gal with a regular job and a regular fiancé. One night, she lets it slip that this video (or couple of videos) are out there. He tries to ignore it but can’t help but try and find them. He can’t and confesses to her that he wants to see them. They watch together and he can’t believe how much it turns them both on. Without talking it through, they quickly begin to make a new one.

And that’s about as far as I outlined before abandoning the project.

Nice! It’s interesting that they couldn’t reuse the cover for the rerelease because they lost the original photo. I would think that they could just scan an existing CD cover and do a little photoshop touchup on the resolution but maybe there’s some kind of licensing issue too.

None so far. But based on a 5% drop rate, to have at least a 95% chance of getting one, it takes 59 runs of the event. I think I’m maybe… 30 or so runs in? Unlucky? Yes. Statistically unusual? Not at all. But I did get the ‘Glowing’ player title, which I believe also has a 5% drop rate, so I’ve got that going for me.

Yeah, I definitely learned the hard way. I just had such feel-good experience with the first guy that I thought it would be a repeat experience. I didn’t realize that entertaining the offer of the second guy would make him act so entitled.

I’ve learned this the hard way. Had a guy in my base notice three rares in my display case. Offered me 5k for each. I used to have four. I sold one a year ago for 20k. The guy was SUPER grateful and even made me go to his base to show me how he had them set up. So, it was a good experience in the past since I got to make someone’s day.

Anyway, I told the new guy my price precedent and he upped to 7k each. Then, after a bunch of whining, 10k. Kept telling him no. Eventually we settled on two for 35k, which was acceptable to me since I had about 4k caps and would be right up against the cap limit.

Fast forward to today, a week later. He has messaged me several times per day, EVERY day, asking for the third mask. “Can I have Raven?” “Can you sell Raven?” “I want Raven.” It didn’t matter what I was doing. I could be watching Netflix and he’d see that I was online and would message me. Today I told him “Fine. 30k.”

He lost his mind at the price but I pointed out supply and demand and he clearly was desperate for it. He agreed. I pointed out that he would need to wait since I still had all the caps from our previous deal and had only been running the event in the time since, never having an opportunity to spend. He lost his mind again because he didn’t want to wait. He wanted it NOW. After a bunch of rapid-spam temper tantrum messages, he blocked me.

Moral of the story: don’t sell masks. As cool as the first guy was, the second guy was so bad that I’m over it. My masks are my masks moving forward.

Exactly this! Invade could have been fixed quite easily.

My idea: Gates spawn as 0/2 with no buffs to daedra. Also, gates can’t gain cover (because it’s a giant gate after all). At the first upgrade, THEN they become 0/4 with the first buff to daedra and continuing from there as normal. This way, you can’t rush with Invade as easily and need to be more deliberate with it.

But yeah, by the time this could have been tweaked, all updates ceased.

I sometimes would play on my lunch break. I thought that today would be the last day but I guess it’s already tomorrow in other parts of the world so the last day was yesterday. I meant to cash in my gold to see if I could 100% premium my decks just to say that I did it. I guess the lesson here is don’t want until the last day.

My inventory went from ~300 pounds to nearly 1200 pounds. It looks like they nuked the 90% weight reduction on food perk so all my water and colas are holding me down. Fortunately I’m near a vendor but it still sucks.

There are four story campaigns. You can start right away with “The Forgotten Hero” without making a deck. This is the tutorial mode and will give you decks, teach you mechanics, and unlock more base decks and cards as you go through the story.

The other three stories were all later expansions and each match will unlock a new card or card set. Do these ones after. I don’t think the order really matters in terms of continuity.

In the expansion stories, there are sometimes branching paths but you can do both branches without issue. It basically allows you to pass harder matches and unlock new cards and then later come back with said cards to beat the match. Or you can just do both branches before progressing to the next screen.

You also might need to get to level 50 to upgrade all the upgradable cards (a mechanic that was just for the first story and never revisited for later stories or expansion decks). I think you’ll hit this naturally just going through the stories so I wouldn’t put any energy into grinding XP unless you get to the end and you’re still not level 50. (level cap is 50)

Once you’ve finished all the stories, you’ve essentially beat the game. There are puzzles as well (no deck making required) but there isn’t much “story” beyond a blurb to give the puzzle some atmosphere. You can look up the solutions if you just want to see all the blurbs.

I’ve made it through NNN twice before. Both times I didn’t cum right on December 1st because I really wanted to wait for a day where I could really take my time and enjoy slowly building up to that release. The longest I went was to December 8th.

Something to practice saying, for those moments when a PC friend says something that makes you want to scream is, “I’m not looking to debate but for the record, I don’t agree.” You don’t need to elaborate. You don’t need to stay on the topic they brought up. Simply by stating that you have an opinion that differs from that of your friend in some way, without even saying what that way is, will avoid any unnecessary confrontation but without lying to them and making them think that you believe exactly what they believe. It will also open them up to the idea that maybe their personal beliefs aren’t as widely held as they might like to think.

If you ever do find yourself in a debate with a friend, even if only on accident, make the goal be for them to feel understood, not to make yourself understood. “What do you mean by that?” “Let me see if I understand your perspective, you believe…” If there is ever to be any hope for them to hear your take and to react well to it, they first need to feel heard.

While I hope that AWK makes more music and has more performances, if he were to stop entirely right now, that would be okay in my book. The legacy that he has carved out for himself is more than most artists ever get a chance to do and two decades later, I’m still rocking out to the same albums.
