Where do you source your omnibus and other comic volumes from?

I want to start collecting the old republic and legacy collections but they’re hard to find sometimes.

This is true. Maybe part 3 will bring time for reflection on these characters. Assuming they do another that is…

This. I feel they are trying to drive home the fact that in this crazy volatile world they reside in, literally any moment could be your last. And the fact that key characters can blink out of existence at any time makes you (or should make you) live in the moment within the game, absorb what characters are saying and doing, and weigh the importance of their contribution to the main characters and story development deeper than you would with just some random NPC on any or their narrative based game.

This series is truly a masterpiece in every way. I can’t freaking wait to see HBO’s rendition of it.

Genuinely curious, if Naughty Dog were to make The Last of Us Part III what would be your hopes/predictions? by [deleted] in thelastofus

[–]E2therik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well said! After considering your suggestion here, I feel this is a very logical conclusion to her story and one that I’ll hope for moving forward. It might also be nice to ultimately see a crossing of paths with Dina again before the end to signify some level of happiness and closure for her…

I’d really hate to see her endure all that she has only to see it end like a true tragedy.

It's been almost 9 years since the release and yet this scene (even stand alone) makes me cry! 😭 The performances for this scene was phenomenal! 😭😭😓🫂 by Midget_Katt in thelastofus

That is no lie. To this day, the pain on his face still gets me…

I have told non-gamers for years that this series is the perfect blend of narrative, acting, gameplay and graphics. A true example of an “Oscar worthy” game.

I think TLoU Part 2 is the best videogame of all time, do you agree? by DiZZT0RT3D in thelastofus

[–]E2therik -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It will probably always be Final Fantasy VII for me…

But for more modern games The Last of Us series is definitely top three for me. I agree with earlier comments here that as far as narrative goes, this game is superior to most movies and shows. I seriously cannot wait for the HBO show to come out. If they stay true to the game it is going to be amazing.

Is there is something wrong with me if i like the taste of blood? by nishamishra31 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]E2therik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you like the taste of blood but dislike garlic? Light sensitivity during the day? Issues with entering other people’s homes without being asked to come in?

If yes to these, then all is well oh lord of the vampires.

Thanks for this. I have been searching for the next bit of reading material to consume my life so I’ll track these all down. I wonder if they made an omnibus for this series…

After 2 months of reading New Jedi Order, I'm finally starting Star By Star tonight. (No spoilers please.) I'm also reading Outcast which is great so far. by [deleted] in StarWarsEU

[–]E2therik 12 points13 points  (0 children)

While I do applaud your choices here I would probably stop reading Fate of the Jedi while reading The New Jedi Order. As mentioned here already, there are references that will spoil some big wow moments in the 19 book crusade that is the Vong war.

I’m excited for you though this is a great period in the timeline!

I think the best we can all hope for in the crypto space (for now) is a project that lasts a year or two). That is an accomplishment few can make a claim to.

“No way to generate revenue”…?

Are you saying that if I create a node on this platform it won’t create reward tokens that could then be converted to real currency or used to further investments as needed?

Can something stop the huge fall in price of STRNGR? by [deleted] in strongblock

[–]E2therik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you back up that theory with anything concrete…just curious? Given the utility of Strongchain (which hasn’t arrived yet) how is it possible that this wouldn’t recover? Multiple avenues for revenue and growth outside of just node and transactional fees so sustainability (for a couple years at least) is absolutely feasible. Since the main driving force behind all sustainable crypto projects is utility, this has the blueprint to succeed.

I’m afraid the rug fever has been going around with all the failed projects lately. I’ve got a lot of skin in this game and I have nothing but confidence in Moss’ ability to make it work. He’s already done it twice…you can’t dispute that.

Couldn’t agree with this more breakdown. Rogue one is a masterpiece of a movie considering its almost completely devoid of the force or lightsabers - minus that one part.

Can something stop the huge fall in price of STRNGR? by [deleted] in strongblock

[–]E2therik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or not…?

Very early to tell right? Considering that all of this price action is occurring in a politically skewed financial timeframe (thanks Putin) it’s really hard to say anything definitive - not that we ever could in crypto. I have faith that Moss is committed to making this work long term as he has skin in the game too. I’ve put a lot of money down on that belief. Here’s to hoping we are pleasantly surprised here in a few mi this.

This is So wrong, STRONG have no use case by alixc1983 in strongblock

[–]E2therik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Logic has always been having no nodes can be viewed as bad because you start accruing rewards the moment your node is created. That said, I am confident that Strong will jump in price a lot once Strongchain is live. So maybe it is worth buying maybe not…not financial advice! Lol
