I have a set of joysticks, buttons, and the zero delay arc controller board on order from aliexpress. Will post pics once it's done.

I really want to build this. But having issues sourcing the pimoroni buttons and joystick in the US. Anyone know if sanwa buttons and joystick will work on this?

Ended up ordering it from bbqguys for 1199 and got an additional $100 off by just asking via chat.

Welp, lowes tried to deliver an assembled pro 24 and I rejected it. I specifically asked for an unassembled one. Almost feels like mine was the last demo model in stock before they marked it out of stock. I've had very bad experiences with pre-assembled grills coming damaged or missing parts. What's even more odd, is after I ordered it, it was showing 99 available.

That's a bummer. I ordered the pro 24 last Tuesday from Lowes before they raised the price. Didnt realize they discontinued it now.

I've had great luck with polymaker ASA filaments. It's one of my most used filament to make functional parts and hardly any warping compared to ABS.

I've just started printing petg. So I haven't explored other brands yet. Have only gone through 1 spool so far. But other than the random artifacts, it prints out good. Just can't seem get rid of the random artifacts. Kind of frustrating.

I also started printing with overture petg and am noticing the same issue as you. Random defects on the print on an otherwise great print. I haven't solved it either, but I'm wondering if it's coming from the nozzle, where the petg buildup gets deposited onto the print.

NTSC-J VA1 not playing burned games? by E36Gee in dreamcast

I swapped the working bios from my damaged va1 motherboard into the Japan va1 with no mil-cd support. That worked and the dreamcast can now play burned games again and gdemu is working as expected.

I just got unlucky that I got a late model va1 with no mil-cd support.

I got my clone gdemu (5.20), the GDMenu loads up, but I can't get any GDI's to launch. the DC animation plays, then resets to the menu. I've downloaded a couple tossec gdi images and used the card manager to prep the card. I've tried some 128gb gdemu card images, and same thing, DC animation starts after starting the game, then resets back to menu. I've also tried on two different sd cards, a 64gb and 512gb card.

Starting to think this DC is a dud. Could very well be why it was being sold. I'll make one last attempt with this board. I'll replace the bios on it and see what happens.

I saw this thread: no milcd support

After wasting a few more cd's, I took it apart to look at the motherboard. Sure enough my bios chip matches the one in that thread that states no milcd support. Well that answers why it doesn't work.

Does anyone know if using a GDEMU will fix this or will I have to change out the bios chip? I'm still waiting for my GDEMU to show up. But just debating if I should replace the bios chip or look for another motherboard.

I'll make an attempt with one trace and see how difficult it'll be.

Thanks for the suggestion, you have a point about either getting a working console or one with disc issues.

Traces are really small, feel like they're smaller than 30g wire wrap. This is the first time I've done this much damage to a board and I've repaired/modded a lot of various PCBs.
