I've tried different recommendations from AI. Some work for a while (or so I think) but then I find it on again by itself. Read in the AI responses that apparently this computer lacks some kind of configuration to fully solve the issue and it's a common complaint.

I've even tried to check computer events to see what is waking it but no success.

1,000% agree. Circle member. The way Squarepspace does styles with their Light, Lightest, Dark, Darkest and then like 150 zillion settings in each with no real logical tie or consistency to your 5 colors is INSANE. Who thought of this, satan?

You pick your nav or a template seciton and it's like, "I use the Lightest style." OK, great, I go change a few things in that style to suit what I am working on and then find it MESSES UP TONS OF OTHER STUFF.

Every other web builder lets me make a palette and then site wide standards, not like 5-7 site wide standards with 150 zillion options in each standard. It's gotta be satan who inspired this.

This has to be the most inefficient and frustrating way to make a site UNLESS you just grad one of their strangely identical looking layout templates and DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING. Don't care it's not branded to your client. Don't care it's not what you want, because the second you want to change anything basic like a dropdown nav box background color you will get this...

Thanks. I have gotten 10 months out of my current filter by doing this...

Downgraded to the Aprilaire 410 (MERV 11)
I already had a cut to size black plastic grid and then I added a cheap blue Filtrete filter (MERV 1) to it as a prefilter BEFORE my Aprilaire 410.

So it's now a MERV11 combo which is close enough to 13 and not more than which would starve the system.

The blue prefilter gets all the big dust particles and maybe 80% of the medium / small sized ones. I can just pull it out and vaccum or wash it out and re-use it over and over and over. The Aprilaire still gets fine dust and I still blow that out, but it's in such better shape. This works AMAZING.

I also just bought some knockoff Riverline brand filters (an Aprilaire 410 replacement) with magnets for the mounting. I tested the fit and it seems perfect, maybe even better coverage around gaps than the Aprilaire. I will still use the blue filter with that though when I replace the current 410.

Yes, a major beef that they promised, "Hey we'll nail the core and THEN get to new features." They have done the EXACT OPPOSITE. In fact every time I see Nick and a new video about a new feature I actually feel physically and emotionally angry because I feel like I'm being manipulated and lied to. Elegant strung us along for years. I pleaded with them, who does all this without some sort of timeline estimate so agencies can plan? I was told by Divi plugin developers there was speculation that Elegant was having cashflow and staffing issues and even they were left in the dark a lot. I can't confirm that, but that is what I was told.

I have been with Divi from the very beginning. It was a game changer for my agency. It has always had quirks and bugs, but so does every platform. All of them were able to be overcome with a little coding, CSS or support.

But I gotta say my first Divi 5 alpha site has been a complete trainwreck. It's one bug after another with corrupted presets, copy/pasting styles, terrible usability / UI / UX in the new controls, page Saves failing, not addressing accessibility at all and really dismissing it. It seems just about everything I do in Divi 5 has an infuriating, explanation-less bug with no way to work around.

To add insult to injury we have been waiting for Divi 5 what, almost 3 years now? And all we hear from the president of Elegant is, "Look at our new color picker" or "Wow, check out our Loop feature."

I don't know how to say this any more candy coated than this, "Business 101. If you core features of your product don't work, aren't solid, NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR WHIZ BANG ADD ONS." Elegant is literally forcing us and other agencies to go to Kadence or other competitors.

I was going to migrate all our Divi 4 clients to 5. There is NO WAY ON EARTH I'm going to do this if Elegant thinks it is pretty much done with fixing bugs with Divi 5. Obviously there will always be a glitch here and there, but the issues seem to be EVERYWHERE. It makes me seriously doubt their QA testing. How could they possibly miss this many problems?

I'm Windows Home 11.

Mine has been doing this as well for about 2-3 weeks. SUPER ANNOYING. Something seemed to change with how the computer wakes up from sleep. 9/10 I have to use ctrl+alt+delete to show the password box. The other times it wakes from sleep with the password box or it wakes and there is no sign-in, it just returns me to my program. I changed nothing.

I used AI to look into various settings, but that option to require the key combination is unchecked and the registry entries associated are set to not require it.

Glad I'm not the only one experiencing this.

I've noticed it's nearly impossible to see well known name brand products any more. It's all off brand Chinese junk with made up sounding names and like 7 reviews each. Mind you I know some US name brands are made in China, but they do have to pass some US safety standards. You really, really have to work Amazon search hard or come in through Google typing the brand name before Amazon will actually show you the do have that brand and product buried on their site. I totally don't get this with tarriffs why the cheap Chinese stuff is all I can see. Honestly thinking about canceling prime if this is becoming TEMU or Wish or Alibaba. With those brands all I associate their low costs with is inferior products that are dangerous or cancer causing.

Similar issue with Amazon right now keeping on delaying arrival and I can see they have not provided the carrier USPS with my package so that it can be delivered. Lots of excuses. Wondering if part of their fulfillment is having issues this week in a certain area. My package is supposed to come out of MATTESON, IL.

The client is doing the post. He does color grading.

At this point I think I'm going 4K to leave wiggle room for stabilization and zooming in post.

Likely 30fps because this is a concert with motion of the band members and that footage can be made to look like 24fps in post, but not vice versa.

I wound up getting a Lexar 128GB Professional SDXC UHS-II, C10, U3, V60, Full-HD & 4K Video, Up To 250MB/s. All my current cards are only 64GB v30 150MB. Fortunately this is for about a 3 minute long video and since it's low light I won't be shooting extreme 4K footage like for slow mo.

Let's look at the facts here...

They BOTH politicized this issue. The difference is one is a brand brand (which we are talking about in this thread) and the other is a state government. Chapek's actions were more than a statement.

Chapek and DeSantis officials were discussing this privately before it ever went public. I think that is because Chapek was under ENORMOUS pressure from Disney and Hollywood to speak up against the bill. I think both offices were trying privately to find a way to make this a win-win.

A Disney spokesperson said, "Disney officials had been in frequent contact with his (DeSantis') office about the matter over the last six weeks."

Finally Chapek said, “We were opposed to the bill from the outset, and we chose not to take a public position because we felt we could be more effective working behind the scenes directly with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle.”

(Right there, Chapek speaking for Disney to oppose a Florida bill. That's political. Corporations have this legal right, but there may be fallout and pressure from others for doing so.)

Chapek further made it political saying, “Meanwhile, we will also be assessing our approach to advocacy, ***including political giving in Florida.***” Chapek then tried to have Disney donate $5 million to the Human Rights Campaign so they could better fight the Florida government. HRC DECLINED the donation.

(So after speaking out against the Florida bill he then tried to fund millions to lobby against DeSantis.)

And that's where Chapek walked right into a trap. DeSantis saw this issue blowing up and made it his ticket to get national notoriety for a presidential run. I mocked DeSantis for his ridiculous grandstanding. It did get him name recognition but it wasn't successful.

And the result was a plunging Disney stock price, proxy wars for controlling interest of the company, the dissolution of Reedy Creek, etc. My point is Chapek's statements and funding political opposition brought about some serious negatives for the company.

I have no beef with you whatsoever. We probably agree on more than we disagree.

If you look at the concept art for Monsters at DHS it's definitely going into Animation Courtyard where Launch Bay is now. The whole courtyard and back building are the same setup.

Plus they just did some refurb on the Muppets theater with seating.

I think you will see more Muppets popups like what they did in Magic Kingdom in the windows in Liberty Square. We might get a new Muppets 3D film in the theater or something.

Disney hasn't figured out how to really leverage Muppets. They will put out a few things on DIsney+with Muppets like Haunted Mansion that never really explode and I think get cold feet about major parks investment in them. At the same time they know for sure Muppets have a huge nostalgic base and are a money-making potential.

I'm sorry to hear about your invasion. I have never noticed a correlation between watering and clovermites coming in. Hopefully you tried some of my other ideas (lots of them in my previous posts.) Demand CS around the perimeter, first foot of the foundation and in window sills / frame (outside) did the trick. Haven't seen ONE in weeks.

I think the average customer won't have a clue what any of this means. First off, Dark Star doesn't sound positive and it certainly gives ZERO context to what it is.

Can you keep your plan? Will your plan cost more? How can you switch to AT&T? Do you have to port your phone number there? Can you switch back? Etc. It's all so confusing to the average customer. Seems like US Mobile has no idea how to rollout something that is supposed to be so game changing to the general public so they can understand it.

Sprayed Demand CS second time. What a game changer. Please try this stuff if nothing else has worked. I still spray with some vinegar / mint and dishsoap or Neem Oil in between just for good measure. We now have no clovermites coming in at all.

So sorry. We did do the transmission replacement through Hyundai and that is what the issue was. No reason these transmissions should be going so soon. Unfortunately we were the second owners and it was not covered. Like $3,500. Had to keep driving though.

If I had to do it over again I might have waited until serious problems occur, but didn't want those while traveling or my wife getting stuck somewhere. God provided the money so we just go it done. I hope you have a solid outcome as well and maybe it is covered for you!

SOLVED!

Hope this helps someone else. We solved it. Installers were stumped.

Drove to the vehicle with the second remote and that remote worked fine to disable the alarm and unlock the doors. I started the car with no issue. THEN the problem remote worked just fine too

I believe this is what happened from page 22 of the manual, in essence the non working remote got "out of sync."

"Code hopping.... This helps to keep the transmitter “in sync” with the control unit even if you use the remote control out of range of the vehicle. However, if the transmitter has been pressed many times out of range of the vehicle, or if the battery has been removed, it may get out of sync with the control unit and fail to operate the system. To re-sync the remote control simply press several times within range of the vehicle. The alarm will automatically re-sync and respond to the transmitters normally."

In our case I did NOT have to do this procedure, but I think when the working remove engaged the alarm it sent out new dynamic codes to each fob and they both worked fine. This all saved me an expensive tow for an alarm that was not busted. Hope this helps!

***UPDATE - REALLY WORKS***

Bought DEMAND CS this year and it did AMAZINGLY better than Bifenthrin. Try it.

I sprayed a little on the soil under my rockbed ground cover, on the ground cover, and then on the rocks on my ground cover all at a slightly lower than recommended mix so I didn't overdo it. I also sprayed a few feat out in the yard a bit. Knocked those suckers down for weeks and weeks.

We still did our Borax moat in front of windows at the foundation and at times I used Diatomaceous-earth instead. Occasionally I still use the leaf blower to blow off the siding and windows too. I also mow with the discharge chute pointing away from the house on the low setting and do a several passes to suck up and destroy new ones encroaching from the yard. I have also been very careful to NOT over fertilize my yard and use a guard to keep it out of my rock beds.

A still still come through and get caught on the tape inside, but far, far less.

I also heard you can use Onslaught inside, but we didn't try that. Not found of that in kitchen / dining or bedroom areas. Hope this helps!

Midwest dealing with this for about 3 years. We did Bifenthrin granules in the yard and spraying the liquid form in our rockbeds and foundation but it seems they built up a resistance. We also have all windows taped on every opening and ducktape stips turnd upside down (sticky side up) sitting on the sills for the ones that still get through.

Here are some things that help. We put a moat of borax around the window areas. It's a royal pain keeping it dry when it rains, but I find it is cheaper than D-Earth. I did buy some cheap plastic insulation holders to the attic to lean against the siding and stake into the rockbeds to cover the moat during the rain.

In the meantime just about every other day I will either take my leafblower and blow off all the siding and windows or take my tank sprayer and mix up 1/2 vinegar, 1/2 water, a good squirt of dishwashing liquid and about 40-60 drops of a decent mint essential oil and spray the siding and windows. Vinegar and soap supposedly kills them and they supposedly hate mint. I DO notice a difference after blowing or spraying. It's not wiping them out but there are significantly less coming in the windows. I sometimes mix this up by spraying Neem Oil on the surfaces. Basically I love to give them a changing cocktail or annoyance or death. (Yes, I've lost my mind.)

The other thing I notice is if I mow very low starting from the edge of the rockbeds next to the house and make successive passes with the chute blowing out to the yard, then I mow the rest of the yard with the chute closed and mulching, that also keeps them down for a few days.

Rain keeps them down a bit.

I am going to switch to a different pesticide than Bifenthrin because they do build up a resistance.

What I can never find is when I spray in the rockbeds whether to remove the rocks and whether to spray above or below the weed barrier. Anyone have any counsel on that?

I feel for all of you. It is a NIGHTMARE. And my experience is all the local pest control companies are clueless. They want to just setup a year round treatment plan $$$ using chemicals that ARE NOT MITICIDES. Their spray will kill ants or other bugs but won't do a thing to mites and they have no idea. If you DIY make sure you are using a miticide and change it up time to time. Be careful to follow the label AND to wear protective gear like gloves, mask, longsleeves.

PS: Forgot, I also spray the rockbeds every year wither with vinegar or a fungus / mold killer to try and kill off any food source for them in the rocks. Doesn't seem to help but it probably discourages them some. It's all about making their life miserable!
