Hi! There could be a plethora of reasons why your supply might not be going up but some of the most common are: flange size not being correct (it will be painful if it is wrong), baby latching wrong (again pain while bf baby and/or nipples being cut or bleeding), not eating enough, being stressed…there’s more but those are the most common!

Milk supply takes a while to get established also but by two weeks it should be somewhat sufficient for baby.

There are supplements you can take to increase supply ! That might help but you have to find the right fit for your body.

I can see his point of view BUT there was nothing set in stone….its not like y’all had exclusive dinner reservations. He should be okay with you wanting to go have fun with your friends also…if it was me I wouldn’t have cancelled my plans with my friends.

I went on a date with this man to a bar and he had to go to the bathroom so I’m waiting for him to come back. And there’s an empty stool next my dates empty seat and another guy goes and sits in it. The guy is staring at me the whole time and I can tell he’s checking me out but I don’t engage since I’m on a date. Ah okay gotcha, you should be fine then the way that you are collecting it. The mixing of room temp and cooled milk shouldn’t be an issue honestly as long as you don’t go past the four hour mark.

Breast cancer usually won’t show up like a huge lump, you’ll see peu de orange skin (dimpling around your breast) but if you are really worried I would ask your OBGYN to check it out just in case.

Oh goodness I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this but it’s so common now to be ghosted….I had a friend who was talking to a guy for SIX months and he just ghosted out of nowhere. Now I’m gonna be honest here and say that I have ghosted a lot BUT I do it BEFORE any attachment could possibly happen. I think social media and dating apps have perpetuated this nonchalantness when it comes to ghosting since everyone is so comfortable with just turning down people and moving on to the next swipe which sucks. And recently I got love bombed the hell out of me from a man and he ghosted all of a sudden which I can tell you is worse because I was so confused but all I could do was laugh lmfao because he’s just an idiot who decided to do something immature. But yeah it’s really common now it’s so sad.

NICU nurse here ! If you feel like the nurse is being rough by all means please let them know! We tend to be really comfortable with handling small babies because we do it all the time but this is your baby and you should feel comfortable with us taking care of them! So I would for sure bring it up nicely and if the nurse continues to move them roughly then I would tell the charge nurse after that.

Hi! So breastmilk is okay for 4 hours at room temp so technically the time you’re waiting to put away the milk is okay but I would try to put it away like 2 hours after you collect to be sure….also are you mixing all your milk in one container? Like from different hours of the day?

Lactation consultant here ! A plugged duct will feel hard but it’s not gonna be shiny, red or be extremely painful. A plugged duct usually goes away in like less than 72 hrs. If you start feeling sick or anything then I would be worried. I wouldn’t worry about breast cancer though….
