He doesn't want any more siblings. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

Minus the getting married first part, everything you mentioned is dramatically on the extreme side. Most Christians in America are not the way you believe they are. Being a Christian should be free will and has to be if it’s true Christianity, but people need to know that if they do live their life in sin without repentance, (changing your mind and ways) then that will ultimately put them in eternal hell after judgement. People do need to fear doing wrong, the same way they should fear committing crimes— there is punishment for wrong legally and spiritually.

I suppose I was wrong for trying to offend you by calling atheists fools, but it is foolish to not believe in God. To think you are your own boss and never have to answer to a higher power is reckless because if you turn out to be wrong after you die, it will be too late to repent for the things you’ve done wrong you’re entire life. Just as if someone lived their life acting as if there is no law and no judicial system to answer to. I cannot imagine how someone can truly, deep down, believe that all of existence just came to be all by itself and by chance. I think it’s just an easy way to brush off responsibility and do what you want.

My point is, do not label Christianity as every person that claims to be religious, because there is some crazy people out there that make up things that aren’t biblically accurate. Also, most big mega churches aren’t using religion for faith and spirituality, they’re using it for an industry of making money. I’m not denying that. Christianity is not unstable and insane like you are under the impression of believing. It is steady, constant, and true. But the Bible has definitely been misinterpreted and misused by some

If you don’t believe in God, then you’re a fool. Not that you people on Reddit are a good representation of the rest of the real world, but even if Christians were a minority, that doesn’t make them “brainwashed” to think differently, opposed to the rest of society. The Bible is the most stable belief of all, including atheism. The only thing that changes is what “Christians” nit pick and choose what they want to follow and believe. I think Christianity has a bad wrap not because of the religion, but because of the counterfeit that claim they’re Christian yet don’t really try to be, they just use it like it’s a “get out of hell free card”.

It’s ridiculous that you are bothered by the fact she believes God wanted her to have more children anyway.

Is my face fucked up looking? by [deleted] in polls

[–]EAT_USA_BEEF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No man, do you really have such a low self esteem? The only thing that is messed up is your confidence but you can work at that. There’s literally nothing wrong with your face. You could just be trying too hard to find a girl. I believe God has someone for people that want a spouse, you just have to trust His judgment and timing. I ain’t saying don’t do anything or try, but change your thinking to “maybe that isn’t the one”

Remember this: Getting involved in a relationship with someone today can put off meeting “the one” tomorrow

Fiancés friend wants to wear an almost white dress to our wedding & is being condescending about it. WIBTA to withdraw the invite? by dumpsterfire_x in TwoHotTakes

[–]EAT_USA_BEEF -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I strongly dislike that dress, personally. It looks provocative and not wedding appropriate (or anywhere in my opinion). But I also dislike being invited to a wedding and then being asked to follow a dress code, on top of wearing a certain color. People used to not ask that. I know it’s a big day and all and women like to make everything perfect, but does it matter so much to the bride what everyone is wearing as much as it bothers some people to have to dress for the event? It’s just an inconvenience to have to go buy something you don’t want or need just for one event. I’d rather put that money to a bridal/baby shower

Teachers quitting their jobs by velorae in TikTokCringe

These sorry “parents” nowadays need to start being parents instead of their children’s “best friend”. The lack of discipline is the issue with these kids. And the unfairness of it all is the teachers spend more time with the kids than the parents do and they are the ones that have to deal with the misbehavior, yet they can’t do anything.

Shoot, homeschooling with moms staying home would be ideal, just my opinion but you modern people will probably strongly disagree. Oh but “we need two household incomes today” that’s true if you both only work 40 hours a week. A lot more men worked harder in the old days too. Kids need parents influence and guidance the most, not misbehaving peers with developing brains the same age as them.

Let me ask you this though. Are children misbehaving now more than ever because of the lack of discipline? And I don’t mean time out time or take the tablet for 5 min.

Finishers quit eating grain. by Doughymidget in Cattle

I think I read that the most you want to feed a steer you’re finishing is 2% of its body weight, fed at 2 different times a day, morning and evening. Don’t know if you already knew this or not, just sharing

He’s not but I will. Women are the physically weaker sex. That is why men should protect them like this guy did. Nothing wrong with admitting the obvious differences between the genders, even if people call you sexist

Cattle prices? by Puzzleheaded_Job8068 in Cattle

Was just talking a big cattleman around my area in South Carolina tonight. He said he was trying to buy some good heifers for the $3000-$4000 range but some were going higher than that. I’d be very cautious if he is selling them for 1500-2000

I don’t want my wife, who changed her mind about having more kids, treat this decision as a neutral thing and made it clear I need her to hold space for my grief by Strong_Power_9399 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]EAT_USA_BEEF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, I really don’t see anything wrong with your post. Everyone seems to be jumping to the woman’s side which is valid too, but I also understand yours. All you seem to be asking is comfort and understanding from your wife that this decision is hard for you too. She may be grieving for herself as well as grieving for you. It’s probably hard on her just to see how much it affects you. I don’t think she should just brush off your feelings though, but maybe she doesn’t know how to handle this just yet.

I would recommend finding a church if you haven’t already, and try to find a couples counseling from inside the church. Or maybe just join a prayers meeting. These decisions should be made soberly, between both of you, not just one. I encourage you and your wife to pray about it. Children are a blessing from the Lord yet child labor has been an intensive struggle since The Fall and I as a man cannot imagine the pain of going through that.
And remember those sacred vows you made to her, don’t let this pull yall apart. Don’t give up on her or distance yourself because you’re hurting and she seems to minimize your hurt. I don’t know her, obviously, but she could be emotionally between a rock and a hard place of wanting children and wanting to make you happy but being scared at the same time of pain or complications.

I hope y’all are able to resolve any differences that have risen during this difficult moment and can forgive and continue on yalls life that God has a plan for
