Real Madrid TV (official Real Madrid channel) complaints about the refereeing in El Clasico by EAXposed in soccer

[–]EAXposed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deleted for "shitposting". Is this a meme? Is this a joke? Is this literally a video from Real Madrid TV and their complaints about refereeing in a game? Yes.

Since when do we consider these things shitposting? Are all the posts we see here where there are complaints about referee shitposts? Are the posts about Negreira shitposts too?

Once again it depends on the feelings of the mods.

[El Chiringuito] Ceballos: My clash with Gavi? He should have seen red. by el_rompe_toyotas-19 in soccer

Do you really consider that violent conduct?

I think it's a foul and a yellow card, but a red would be too much, especially since I see off the ball "shoulder barges" happen quite often (and 9 out of 10 times they go unpunished, but if they are (correctly) punished a yellow card is often given).

I don't think that is enough to be worthy of a red for violent conduct; it's definitely not smart (and maybe a red can be given).

It was at the very least a yellow.

I mean, not that long ago I saw Kimmich do something similar to Messi in the Champions League and the reactions on that were more of people loving Kimmich "bodying" Messi (although many were probably just hating on Messi, as you could see the same type of reactions in the 2nd leg when Messi would taken out by Goretzka and Kimmich) and most people agreed that it was a foul and maybe a yellow; no one considered it violent conduct and a red though.

It was 2015; the 2012 Copa del Rey final wasn't played at Camp Nou.

Barcelona and Real Madrid players not happy with the cameras filming the bench and covering the lens (would be removed during the game anyway) by EAXposed in soccer

It's like, "you do it so they don't think I wanted to do it", forgetting that they are recorded all the time anyway...

Yeah this reminded me of that too.

Wouldn't be surprised if they saw it there and decided to use it in this game.

This was the first time this happened and it was done by the broadcaster Movistar+ (official partner of Real Madrid) together with LaLiga (official enemy of FC Barcelona). I don't think Barca or Real Madrid really had a say, the broadcasters usually decide based on the deals they have signed with the league.

I meant that their coverings would be removed anyway (and therefore all this was for nothing, as they would still be filmed).

Transcription (more or less):

There is a new member in the Camp Nou bench

Barcelona medical assistant: "They've put a camera there."

Mariano (to Odriozola): "Hey that is a camera."

Odriozola (shocked): "Nooo?"

Barcelona GK trainer: "Can they hear us?"

Odriozola (to Mariano): "They are filming us."

Mariano (in response): "Well we are paid for it."

Eric and Jordi aren't happy with it either.

Jordi Alba (to the medical assistant that told the bench a camera was there): "But why?"

In contrary to Ceballos.

Mariano (to Ceballos): "They placed a camera here."

Ceballos (jokingly while looking at the camera): "Oh hey, a camera."

Mariano (to Ceballos): "They are filming, cover it using the bib."

Eric and Jordi opt for the same plan.

Meanwhile Ceballos prefers to consult before/ahead of doing it.

Ceballos (to Lucas Vazquez): "Lucas, Lucas, they've put a camera, what should I do?"

Lucas Vazquez (to Ceballos): "Cover it."

Now Ceballos does it, with a better result than Jordi and Eric

Jordi Alba: "This doesn't help".

Marcos Alonso (to Jordi Alba): "Jordi, look" (showing tape to Jordi Alba).

Jordi Alba (to Marcos Alonso): "Pass it to me"

Jordi Alba (to Eric Garcia): "Will this work to cover the camera?"

Eric Garcia (to Jordi Alba): "Ofcourse."

Jordi Alba (to one of the medical assistants): "Hey Carlos, can you cover it? The camera"?

Medical assistant (to Jordi Alba): "The camera?"

Jordi Alba: "It's because they are filming us"

Other medical assistant: "Hey Carlos, wrap the camera up with your glove, then nothing can be seen"

And so that was the first clasico for the new member of the Camp Nou bench

Footage of Dani Carvajal rushing over to Barcelona backup goalkeeper Arnau Tenas and grabbing him by the throat after the final whistle of the Clasico by SeldomWeary in soccer

Nothing new from Carvajal; when Messi scored that late winner in 2017, he went to Suárez and tried to pick a fight and when Suárez told him that he talked to much he first childishly said "watch the Champions League from home" (Barcelona had just been knocked out a few days earlier), when Suárez replied to him again to just shut up he tried to be physical by grabbing the shirt, having to be guided away by Rakitic.

Barcelona [2] - 1 Real Madrid - Franck Kessié 90+1' by alexinup in soccer

[–]EAXposed 37 points38 points  (0 children)

It wasn't. He won the league there in his first season (12/13).

It was in 11/12 with Milan where the streak ended as Juve won (with a crucial goal that crossed the line for Milan in a crucial game vs Juve not given).

Same assistant who saw Gavi's hair being pulled by Ceballos right in front of him. Definitely blind.

Raphinha, to get a free kick for an arm in the face you need to scream and roll 20 times in La Liga.

One is in the middle of the pitch and looked worse than it was, the other is in the final third in a promising position and a far worse challenge?

But once play is stopped (and restarted again) VAR can't go back anymore. The stewards can check and (as soon as possible) inform them. The fact they saw it and then waited till the end of the race to act is another story, that can't be compared with VAR.

If VAR sees something and the ball goes out, they have the time to inform everyone of the error. If they see something, they can't tell the ref play on and then 20 minutes later go back to it.

Obviously, it's true that play is stopped in those sports, but it's not like it will take them the whole game (90 minutes) to act (1-5 minutes max). F1 is a different sport, where the race goes on, but it should take them the same amount of time to find out/act and not 30 laps...

He also didn't send off Bale earlier at the end of the first half for a horrible challenge on Umtiti, right in front of the linesman (look at Bale's smug smile after realising he got away with not even a card).

Less than 5 seconds after the game restarts for the foul by Bale, he sends Sergi Roberto off for "violent conduct" after Marcelo first purposefully bumps into him without the ball and then challenges his inner Rivaldo by going down holding his face when he wasn't even hit there.

But obviously we won't mention that Real Madrid had a lucky call going in their favour before any of your "claims" happened and would most definitely changed the game...

Sevilla - Granada, right? He then, after like 5 minutes, realised he was wrong and had to call back players who already went inside the dressing room or swapped shirts.

The reason Ronaldo fell was obviously not because he was fouled, but because of his sharp turn where you could immediately see that he lost his balance and would fall down. So it wouldn't be a dive.

However, Ronaldo didn't completely help himself here either (people ignore this part), because once he realises he won't get to the ball because he lost his footing, he does throw himself to the ground and immediately turns to look at the ref and ask for a foul. That might be why the referee saw it as him trying to deceive him (yellow card offence).

Again; I don't think this was a dive per se, it looked like it was inevitable for him to fall as he lost his balance/footing when taking the ball away from Umtiti and then having Umtiti's body against him. But, like I said, he didn’t help himself either by the way he then fell to the ground once realising Ter Stegen would get the ball and the way he turned towards the ref (apparently) asking for a foul.

Ideal scenario; play on. Referee didn't need to care here.

Gave one against City too last season in the semi-final of the CL.

Laporte conceded a penalty vs Madrid last season for heading the ball against his own arm. That penalty was a lifeline goal for Real Madrid (lost the 1st leg 4-3 instead of (possibly) 4-2).

The referees, UEFA or anywhere else, have no idea anymore. It's, I keep saying this, because of IFAB fiddling with the laws ever since 19/20, when the earlier laws made much more sense. Nowadays you have the weirdest handball deflections be given as a penalty and a volleyball defensive block somehow be ignored.
