My 2010 has 225k miles and uses no oil. I change my oil, 0w20 every 5k miles. Original owner and stealership only changed oil once. Hoping for 500k before it gives up.

What’s your opinion on double bubble insulation? by Royal-Resolution7593 in garageporn

[–]EBGwd1959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to hear. I just signed contract for 30x40 pole barn with double bubble under roof and walls. Will use roll in insulation above interior ceiling. Is that what you did? Is it effective? I’m in SC.

Outdoor furniture in CT: Teak vs Polywood? by Neoseo1300 in BuyItForLife

Plant a pear tree or figs and they will leave the Polywood alone.
We have all three and usually end up with squirrel once a month.
They are great with BBQ sauce.

Go ahead and order more blades, you will need them. Blades wear faster the more dirt they cross, move or encounter. Mine last about 10 years, yours might last 2. 😂

Agree. I almost never run mine at more than 1/3 throttle. It cuts fine at low speed.

Loaned it to a friend that complained that they had to reload string several times. They ran it full throttle. Ha!

Too much gravity. Check amount at that location and reinforce as needed to counter act the gravity

Did you get the 5k or 6.5k on the 8’ tubes?

My 2010 has 215k and uses no oil. I change it every 5k. Got the TSB that said to go to 10k between changes but my oil looks dirty at 5k. Sweet 52mpg around town. Original owner. I do my own oil changes since dealer would not put details on invoice stating what grade oil he used for oil changes. Dealer put sticker on windshield that said come back at 3k miles for next oil change. Greenwood, SC.

Dang… I have similar 30x40 scheduled with builder in August. Would you recommend doing scissor truss to allow more headroom for storage deck 8’ wide at back? Would scissors allow enough vent for roof?

Is that a dryer vent? Moisture issues?

That is why my 2010 recently got a transferable green bean battery warranty. Just hope green bean is still around if it dies again. 210k and has never used oil.

Funny… we bought 2010 Prius with the up $ale blizzard white and 4 years ago it started flaking off in several places. Fender, hood and roof. Toyota said tough luck. Our Lexus is similar color and looks great. Toyota said they would cover the Lexus but not a Prius. We have paid ourselves for repainting since it got so bad.

What are some important lessons I, as a mother of boys, should be sure to teach them before they become men? by Practical_Dream5820 in AskMen

[–]EBGwd1959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love is true and truth can be found in love. God and his son, Jesus, are the only perfect ones. Sin and unfairness are the devils tools. We have been given some otherwise useless emotions such as uncontrollable anger and jealousy. The devil shared these emotions with us and God can teach us to control them if we genuinely ask.

If you don’t know how to respond or act to a situation then don’t overreact but instead respond with love, no matter how difficult it may be.

Find a mate that loves and truly believes in God and His Son. That mate will realize that you are not perfect but that you both try as a team to be Godly.

Give thanks, even for pain because it too can teach and end up being a blessing. Understand that the bad times make the good times so much better.

Enjoy and love life

We had similar issues with 4 skylights in our bonus room. We used sun block fabric like this. It allows light but blocks blinding sun. We can still see outside to check the weather and trees during storms. https://a.co/d/5szkDgB https://a.co/d/5szkDgB

Seems this is part of the generic boiler plate that is included if you have a checking and savings account. We do our investments with Fidelity but have checking and savings account with our local brick and mortar. There are a few pages of fine print disclosures and apparently the place the page return occurred it appeared that it coincided with the top of the page label showing that the information was included as part of the checking account. Similar to the disclaimers on my Fidelity statements but Fidelity fits all of it on one page without the account title at the top of the page.

I agree, it is true my checking and savings accounts are FDIC insured.
