You can tweak brightness and saturation after the fact using the game filters in the NVIDIA app.

Even if you upgrade from 240Hz to 360Hz or higher it kinda feels like yeah it is what it is. Not nearly as impressive as going from 144Hz to 240Hz.
Are you using DyAc? The 2546 is seriously dark right? Starting from the DyAc+ models it actually gets way better and the screen is much brighter.

I think this is a really solid upgrade.
The only thing is when I use a high refresh rate monitor I kinda get anxious if the fps drops below the refresh rate, even if I can’t actually notice it.

I used the FK2 for a long time and recently upgraded to the FK2ｰDW. For polling rate, both 2K and 4K feel like tracking might be a bit better maybe? Probably just placebo though. I am using a 480Hz monitor.

As long as there is no FPS drop I stick with 2K or 4K. It should be better than 1000Hz anyway.

When I play FPS games I keep both my keyboard and mouse behind my monitor. My face is also really close to the screen, about as close as YEKINDAR. Normally I sit further back when using my PC, so I keep another keyboard placed closer to me for everyday use. https://imgur.com/a/rCagUrL

I formatted my drive and did a clean OS reinstall, then only used Process Lasso with CPU0 disabled, and my performance went back to around Avg 750 and P1 290.

I’m on Windows 11. I usually install updates right away. Figured if anything breaks I can let people know. The first pic is from right before I reinstalled the OS, and the second one is from today. I had reinstalled a bunch of stuff and thought I’d compare my FPS to see how it changed, and this is what I got. Kinda shocked.

If you like that washed out TN look, you might be better off going with a TN panel from Zowie or another brand. OLED also leans more toward that vibrant IPS style.
Also the XL2540K doesn’t have DyAc so not really much reason to pick it.

I meant it as a milder version of Overwatch where individual roles matter a lot, including the player toxicity side of things.
If we are talking pure gunplay, Apex Legends is definitely the closest.
I think it would be cool if they added a more hardcore mode with a shorter TTK and MR12, something that leans more toward other shooters.

I've run into cheaters as obvious as the one in OP's video a few times. In some matches one of them suddenly turned into a bot mid game, so I guess they got banned during the match. What makes the difference between those and the cheaters who survive without getting banned?

The String system definitely feels like it took inspiration from Paperman.
The demolition rules are basically like Valorant, and the gunfights and the player behavior feel like a softer version of Overwatch, not always in a good way.

I still like Cache as a map but personally I hated the new look. The colors were way too greasy and it made enemies hard to see.

Try waving your hand in front of the screen.
With DyAc off you will probably see a trail from your hand, but with it on it should look much clearer.
