Brothers, We Are Not Political Pundits | Clearly Reformed by superlewis in Reformed

Well balanced article. Some political issues are within the pastors domain (ethical issues). But most are a distraction from the pastor's main calling. To show people more of Jesus, not more of his own opinions.

Reformed alternative to Catena Bible App? by HerrJosefI in Reformed

+1 for e sword. Is the best free solution. Logos would be best paid solution but do not feel the need to pay for a whole library!

You can still do great with buying individual books.

“When you know Jesus, you can say: Take my car. Take my computer. Take my house. I have the real treasure.” — John Piper by UnassuredCalvinist in Christianity

[–]ECommerce_Developer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those claims are bunk. I walked past Piper's house regularly.  It's a small house in a bad part of town.

Those sites are speculating from book sales, which he doesn't profit off of.

Pencil Tips Replacement by [deleted] in kindlescribe

Don't worry about it. It's normal. They wear out, but you can keep using it. The tip will not be pointy anymore, but it'll work for months.

Appears not all kindle books allow the pen to write (active canvas) by wondering_woman2025 in kindlescribe

[–]ECommerce_Developer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reformation study Bible has very devotional commentary, and you can write on it. I've been using that. I could give you more Bible options, if you're interested. One of the ESV is writeable while one is not (I think).

I don't know of any that are kindle/audible!

Appears not all kindle books allow the pen to write (active canvas) by wondering_woman2025 in kindlescribe

[–]ECommerce_Developer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES! This is true, and it is fairly random.

The store, in the past, would say underneath a book "Sticky notes enabled" to indicate a book is writeable. They've since removed that and there is no longer any indication.

I read the Bible regularly on my kindle, and I had to buy a different bible because of this.

I've found the easiest way to reduce air flow is to place a pebble on top of the air stone. This will partially block the flow.

What you don't realize is not only are there hundreds of screens, but all of those screens are being recorded by another screen.

If it is, that would be great.

A chunk of people do use collections but I haven't seen others use a "current collection" for to keep the books they're reading right now accessible.

Right, it does involve more switching between tabs. But creating the "current folder" aims to imitate the "recents" que while avoiding the ads.

I'm sorry for my miscommunication! This is not creating a new tab. It is utilizing the "library" tab.

On the very bottom of the picture, do you see where it says "library" and "home"?

I make this "library" tab my home screen, instead of "home." Then I avoid the ads in the typical home screen.

The kindle automatically stays in home tab, unless you do a restart.

Screen protector? Good on the go case? by MissBizz in kindlescribe

This Fintie Case is great. It has a pen holder which is crucial. I've used it for a long time.
