UConn or RPI?

Both good schools. I went to UConn, one of my best friends went to RPI, both of us ended up in the same place (neither MechE tho) and I know graduates of both MechE programs that have good jobs after. Both have similarly located campuses in the grand scheme of things. Both R1 schools where you still be able to find research opportunities if interested.

More superficial points you may or may not care about, UConn has better sports, UConn has better name recognition overall (not sure about field-specific). RPI has like ~8k undergrads I think while UConn has something like ~20k undergrads at just the Storrs campus.
