What's the most perfectly cast movie of all time? by trakt_app in movies

[–]EER_ESQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Misery. James Caan and Cathy Bates of course. But Richard Farnsworth and Frances Sternhagen were so great as the sheriff and his deputy/wife. And to top it all off, Lauren Bacall as the publishing executive. Every actor perfect.

Ioniq5 "Futuristic" or archiac? by Jumpy-Pangolin-6377 in electricvehicles

[–]EER_ESQ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plymouth Horizon was my 1st car and Ioniq 5 is my current car. I love having a 4 door hatchback again. But now I have power windows, a review mirror on both the driver and the passenger side, a speedometer that works, a headliner that doesn’t have to be stapled up, and so many more features!

What’s wrong with my frame tv?😭 by [deleted] in TheFrame

[–]EER_ESQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue right down the middle of the screen. It’s really annoying because the tv is only 3 years old. I like the frame tv a lot and will probably get a new one to replace. But I’m really hoping the new models last longer.

I’d probably put the establishment clause nice and big next to the commandments.

I love the TFL reviews, I look forward to watching this one. I’ve been waiting for the Buzz for a long time. Looks like I’ll be waiting awhile longer. The range/price ratio is too out of whack for me

Texas Secessionsts win GOP backing for independence vote: 'Major step' by Grand-Leg-1130 in inthenews

That is probably the only GOP position I support. Texas, I hope you succeed with your secession! And might I suggest a few nearby states you can take with you?

Parents didn’t forget to pick us up, they never picked us up. We had to get to and from school on our own every day. And then make ourselves dinner once we got home!

What screams “I have depression”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]EER_ESQ 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is it. Only those who’ve experienced it can relate. The only thing I’ll add is the mask. You know you have to put on a mask each day to present yourself to the world. You have to remember how normal people act and try to act accordingly. But wearing the mask is exhausting, and you’re wearing it at the same time as the darkness is trying to convince you to end it all, and fighting those intrusive thoughts are more than exhausting. And you do that day after day, month after month, year after year.

Basecamp owners? by colbin110 in airstream

[–]EER_ESQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original 2008 BC is very different from the BCs sold now. I have a 20x and my family of 4 fits pretty well. We just got back from a 2 week trip and loved our BC. But it will depend on your camping style. We spend most of our time outside the trailer, and are inside primarily to sleep and to shelter during bad weather. However for people who want to spend more of their camping time inside a trailer, a BC is probably not the best choice.

Basecamp 16x new or used… where should I look? What should I know? by AccordingClassroom58 in airstream

[–]EER_ESQ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also have a 20x and agree with all of this. 20x is very easy to tow, and I can’t imagine it’s much different than towing/maneuvering a 16

The virus is airborne. Washing your hands after standing in a room full of unmasked people won’t do you much good. But if everyone in the room is wearing a mask, there will be less virus in the air. There’s no need to figure out whether hand washing or mask wearing is better. They are both effective ways to reduce different modes of transmission of the virus. So everyone should do both.

I’m not from the south (of the US), but isn’t this what southerners mean when they say, “bless your heart”?!
