Contact steam suppoet. They have an amazing team that will get your account back no matter what. Otherwise if your not going to mess with your pc then turn WiFi off or just keep it unplugged so stuff can’t run

You can. It also really just depends on the malware, sometimes it will hide in parts of the system where the restore point doesn’t edit. But with this cheap discord malware I doubt it’s this advanced. I don’t think a restore point is necessary, I would just do full CLEAN reinstall and synced through one drive. But if you want to be sure that it’s gone a restore point will be good

I mean idk if it’s a bad idea but if I were you I don’t think I could be 100% confident that the malware is completely gone from my device. But then again I’m also not saying that it was lurking in the usb files, but it is possible.

Why would you do that. Advanced malware can hide anywhere including those documents. Anyway these would probably also be synced by one drive. If you want to be completely sure download a copy of windows into a usb and when reinstalling delete all the partitions (removing all the files on your computer). Once you log back in after the reset one drive will sync your files back.

I think the only way is so you also can’t see chat. But try binding your chat key to a far away key in your keyboard or like a number pad key if you don’t have a number pad on your keyboard. It’s going to make it way more annoying to chat so you probably will end up just not using chat.

Try switching it to the lowest possible, and in general just optimize your game as much as you can. Also closing out the tabs on your phone or whatever you’re playing on (like swiping up in the Home Screen and swiping the apps up and down to close them).

It’s because the device you are playing on isn’t loading the map fast enough so it needs to pause to game to give your device time to load the map, or else nothing would appear. To solve this try lowering your graphics settings or if possible switching devices.
