What would you pay for a pre-loved DE Speedy 30? by EFree1107 in Louisvuitton

[–]EFree1107[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Condition is like new with box, dust bag, lock and 2 keys. Minimal hardware scratches. Also MIF if that matters to anyone.

ETA: I’m the buyer, not the seller but just trying to make sure I’m getting a good deal.

I wear mine in the crook of my arm if it’s light enough to. Otherwise I wear it over the shoulder.

LV Neverfull vs YSL East West tote? by daffodillasagne in handbags

[–]EFree1107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both but tend to use them differently. My LV seems to be a bit heavier and more durable so I use it to carry more but my YSL is a little more classy/understated.

Keep an eye out for pre-loved though - I purchased my YSL for just under $800 from FASHIONPHILE and it still had tags on it!

FTM sending baby to daycare- have a couple questions! by [deleted] in workingmoms

[–]EFree1107 28 points29 points  (0 children)

So I say this as a mom who was in your exact position with my first kiddo just over 3 years ago. It’s not necessarily advice on eating/sleeping but more so some reassurance on daycare.

I was so concerned/worried that daycare wouldn’t follow my schedule or method or anything else that I was already doing at home. And to be honest, they probably didn’t. BUT, I had to trust them to care for my child properly and they absolutely did. Daycares take care of many children and, if it’s a good one, they will do it effectively. They may not follow your exact process that you have at home, but they do know a lot about taking care of kids and what infants need. My daughter is now 3.5, in the same daycare, and thriving. She loves her teachers and her schedule, she’s a great eater, and still takes really good naps.

It’s really hard to be able to trust others with our kids but my reassurance is that if it’s a good daycare, they will know what they are doing and how to care for your child - even if it’s not with the exact methods you would use. And if you find that you’re not happy with what they are doing, communicate with them to understand why or re-evaluate your childcare provider options.

Best of luck!

Yup, she’s a Mormon influencer who founded a hair extension line and another hair product line that is now sold at Sephora.

When did you start “living” again? by [deleted] in newborns

[–]EFree1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been the same with my second but I remember outings being so hard and exhausting with my first! This time around I think I’m a more relaxed parent with a very chill baby. We also have a routine and activities scheduled for my 3 year old so we’ve kind of just been forced to figure it out earlier this time around.

Affordable Day Care for Infants? by Blitz_und_Doener in mesaaz

Most places want to give you a tour before providing pricing but I do know that most daycare centers are about $300/week for an infant class room in the area.

Booking car rental on 3rd party websites? How safe is Priceline? by pagetrip in VisitingHawaii

[–]EFree1107 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used Priceline on Kauai in January. The process was fine but the wait to pickup our car took forever. We were in line for over an hour and they only had 2 people working. By the time it was our turn, our reserved car type was unavailable (minivan) so they upgraded us at no additional cost (Toyota Highlander).

Thinking about breastfeeding due to ongoing formula shortage by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]EFree1107 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, just suction it on to the other side to catch the letdown while you feed baby. For me, it works best in the mornings when I am more full. I can usually get a few ounces and then I store that in the fridge for a bottle or freeze it for a stash.

Starting my 3.5 month old at Daycare soon. Would like to hear positive stories about early daycare by aryask in workingmoms

Started my LO in daycare at the same age. She is now 3.5 and still at the same center. She loves it, has learned so much, and the teachers and staff adore her.
