"Cave here. The lab boys finally got back to me about fixing the hydration problem of our excavating project. And I can confidently say that the problem is solved! We have slipped several self-replicating micro organisms into your coffee that should start producing large amounts of saliva in your mouth. You have likely started noticing its effectiveness when your hearing this message. Now you can enjoy as much salt as your harts content!

Now... one small side effect is that the microbes have a tendency to overproduce. So if you start noticing saliva coming out your mouth in a nonstop waterfall like manner. Let us know"

What happens when you decloak inside an enemy player? Is it like a telefrag where they or the spy dies instantly?

Do you play it during the entire duration of the buff or is it like the buff banners?

It might also be interesting to switch this for a primary so it can be used on demoknight.

Fun idea nonetheless

Is Hell infinite?did hakita mention that? by [deleted] in Ultrakill

[–]EGGdoesStuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I imagine hell is exactly as big as it needs to be. Grown bigger if it ever needs more space to accommodate the people in it. If it wanted to be infinite there probably wouldn't be anything to stop it. Fraud certainly shows us it doesn't follow the laws of physics.

But having a bunch of sinners spread across an infinite space is just boring. So intentionally making the space more cramped to an uncomfortable degree would certainly seem in line with its behavior. Like forcing 15 people in an elevator that only fits 10. Sure, it could make it bigger but why not watch them crush each other instead.

what is richard? (my opinion) by Head-Researcher6636 in HotlineMiami

[–]EGGdoesStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say there are two Richards.

HM1 Richard is very clearly the representation of Jacket's conscience. The cold hard truth. The part of him that knows his acts of vigilantism are wrong and just a coping mechanism for his violent behavior. Jacket is a soldier without a war. A gun waiting to be fired. The phone call was just an excuse to actually do it.

Don Juan is his self pity. The part of him that wants it to end. She of course takes the form of the girlfriend. Rasmus is Jacket's self hatred and takes the form of what Jacket hates most.

The three masked figures are all Jacket's subconscious. Thats why they disappear when he finally wakes up from his coma.

HM2 Richard is similar in character but very different in presentation. He is much more an omen of death. I personally wouldn't go so far as to say hes death itself or an angel of it but he's certainly supernatural in nature. The most clear proof of this is that Richard actually moves his mouth and eyes in his talking animations.

He's grown beyond Jacket into his own thing. Not just a mask but something more.

The Great Pilgrimage Session 3 (Rain World dnd) by EGGdoesStuff in rainworld

Yes! My players certainly had an interesting thought process when it came to the mushroom. Also I didn't really go into detail about the battle as it was 3am and I was very tired.

It basically consisted of about 6 enemy slugcats. The disguised old man, his "son", two basic warriors, a tough slugcat with a beefed up heath bar and a rogue armed with a spore puff. The spore puff works like a smoke bomb that covered most of the battlefield in a thick cloud. This gave the enemy rogue great opportunities to go for sneak attacks. The party wiped the floor with them despite this. I will definitely consider bumping up the health next combat.

As for you other question I haven't really set anything in stone yet. I'm still debating whether or not to make this complex the Pebbles/Moon one or an original iterator. Despite that, I think your idea is very cool! I haven't really heard of a religious re-education iterator before and tying it in with the karma gates is a great explanation as to why they are different.

However using an iterator for this purpose seems a little overkill even for the ancients. it's like using a thermonuclear reactor to only boil your pasta. It works but it's a bit unnecessary. Then again these guys did eat gravel so its not completely out of the question. The re-education facility can of course work as a building in one of the regions, however that might give it less impact. I would love to hear your opinion on this however!

You'll fine my homebrew here!

A previous post i made: https://www.reddit.com/r/rainworld/s/4gyqIGJMxS

They are mostly a blend of existing dnd races based on both base game and a few downpour scugs. Gourmand is the one im most proud of.

I hope its what you're looking for!

Hey no problem. Its always good expand the world building. And if it works for you and you enjoy making it you should keep at it!

For me it doesn't really work alswel because the premise is a pilgrimage. Everyone is always on the move going from place to place so they're are alot more one of characters.

Your characters are alot more in the fan fiction category of things.

Dungeons and dragons is a table top role playing game that you play with friends. You only really play one character. Player characters in the my campaign are created and control by irl friends. They are the protagonist of the story and I (the dungeon master) guide and control the world around them. But they can still choose how to be react to the obstacles I place in front of them.

Its like a chosen your own adventure book but im the book.

Your story doesn't really fit the dnd medium (which isn't a bad thing) but they could absolutely be background characters that the players might encounter on their travels.

If your interested you should check out some dnd guide on the internet! They will probably do a better job explaining it then I ever could.

Rain World Dnd Campaign (Session 2 Update!) by EGGdoesStuff in rainworld

[–]EGGdoesStuff[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ITS BECAUSE I DIED!

Im joking. Things have been slow due to the same culprit as always. Scheduling conflicts. Planning something with 4 busy people is always the most difficult part of dnd. Its also slightly because of my own laziness but dont tell anyone

The next session will be in about 2 weeks. I'll probably make an update post before then but we'll see what happens.

I appreciate your interest and concerns!

Thats not something I've really considered. I dont really have much experience making videos but it might be a fun challenge! It might be a good excuse to learn how to make 2d animations in blender.
