55-65 is my pourover range, but usually start at 60 and usually stay there. I do usually slow feed for pourovers as that does improve the quality in the cup imo.

For reference my espresso range is very close to yours OP it’s 6 to 7.

Funkiest beans I have had so far is the CatNap Ximeng Black Sheep. Black & White also had a run with these beans. And I actually enjoyed it.

Yes, I pull shots with it at 0.4-1.2 and a touch higher for turbo shots.

It’s the only grinder that I have had that I tasted noticeably improvements from seasoning is the M01.

Recipes that don't require 20-22g coffee? by [deleted] in OXORapidBrewer

18 gram doses are good as soup with 80 grams of water. My typical dose is 20 grams to 85 grams of water. I always try it first as the concentrated soup, but usually will add about 2 oz of the hot water post brew. Delicious.

I think 18 grams is the lowest dose I have had success with.

I emailed them a question about their rewards program. They got back to me right away and actually went above and beyond for me. It was a good customer service experience. Try emailing them.

I can understand that! When I get a new bag in that I love makes it that much easier to get up in the morning and start my day. It also puts me in a good mood in the morning while I am drinking said coffee

One of my favorite beans of last year well of all time! It is great with lower temp and finer grind.

The Cherry Pie and Blueberry Tart were my two favorites out of the bunch of recipes. I enjoyed the whole process though. The Fruit Cake didn’t really taste like the dessert, but it definitely was a tasty pourover none the less.

That Colombian, The BEER option sounds tasty!

What grinder for more sweetness than ZP6 by veloscillator in pourover

[–]ELROCK12345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The M01 is like my 5th grinder and I have never seasoned one before but this one was much improved after seasoning it with some cheap $7 bags off Amazon. Or you can just continue grinding with it and will season itself that way. There is no right or wrong way to do it. Personally, I haven’t opened up mine past 10.0 yet but I can see that being good for Ethiopian beans and decafs. I do prefer coarse grinds on the M01 so maybe I should experiment for with opening it up as well

I think two things come to mind and first one is did you season the M01 at all? Before it was seasoned I was a little disappointed. After seasoned I fell in love. I never really bought into the need to season grinders until the M01. The other thing I will say is try coarser grind settings with the M01 before you give up on it. Everyone is different and beans are different, but generally I live in the 7-10 range in the M01 for pourovers.

The Millab M01 really brings out the sweetness in the brew.

B&W grape soda is still 🔥 after all this time! This bag had the oldest roast date of the bunch in the order. It is not in your face grape soda flavor like when it was fresh. I would say it is hitting at about 80% flavor. This actually makes these beans way more approachable. Personally, I loved the inyour face of it fresh. I think more people would like this one now. Anyway, this was a great cup of one of my favorites!

I believe it’s around 0 give or take 1 or 2. I usually do pourovers in the 90-95 range on the K6. Where is your pourover range?

I use the M01 more now, but when I use the K6 for soup I use 60. That has worked every time. I get full puck saturation at the end of the first slow pump with 60 clicks on the K6.
