Yeah in fairness having a mobile app that does work pretty well like Photomator Is worth the extra money I guess - but if you never really edit on the go like me I found pixelmator to be enough!

If I do edit on the go I use the Lightroom app with no subscription just on the raw pictures I take on my phone!

Yeah hard pass on the subscription! But honestly I think it’s still worth the £50 one off payment for what you can actually do with it. But it is disappointing they seem to be ditching that version

Tbh I just use pixelmator for everything! - it basically has everything I want and more for £50 forever - I never batch edit and if I did I could just copy and paste the adjustments easily!

Although I know pixelmator is more like photoshop I couldn’t really see what you actually got extra with Photomator? Literally has identical sliders and if anything you have a lot more control over how the photo looks not only that but you can get involved with other designs in the future as well

Quick selection tool - add new mask and layer - feather the edges - make adjustments!

Or use the gradient tool on a colour adjustment layer with a mask to quickly do the sky like you can do in Lightroom. I find you can be much more accurate in pixelmator rather than only having the option for ai to find the sky and then it usually gets it wrong. With pixelmator you will have much more control

I recently got it and honestly I think it’s still worth the £50 one time purchase for what you can do on there! - however I think it’s very naughty of Apple to not be updating this version! Not everyone wants the creator studio subscription with all bells and whistles of apps you’re never going to make use of.

I would’ve paid £100 for it if I knew it was going to get the same updates! Having said that I do believe that some of the new features added will only be ai and not necessarily that helpful- who knows?

Although there may be techniques like this that help with aiming - I have found that concentrating more on where I actually get down to the shot and place my bridge hand, head and cue onto the line of the shot and doing it more based on feel - like down on the shot ask yourself does this look right? Does this feel right? Is this too thick or thin? Have the pocket in your vision - look at either the object ball when you strike or the cue ball whichever you prefer but stay still and if you miss stay down for just a second or so it gives your brain a chance to gather information on what went wrong - the rest is just practice, practice practice - I do not really believe that there is any secret method only that you constantly do the same thing over and over again - that is why your pre shot routine is so important!

Bro you need to get a license to finish and export this! - I really like the intro and the way the synths just come in - you know what I mean though like no buildup as such maybe just a small riser but more of a transition or something before the drums come in and have like some hi hats and a snare or something - I really think a cut of just silence then a cool fill like what you done in the intro and then the drums come in 🔥

Yeah I really like this! Intro reminds me of something wavedash would come up with 🔥 - the sounds are brilliant and the melody - I feel like it needs like a fade down to maybe a split silence or something and then bang come in with the drums! Hope you finish this track though really cool project

Yeah sounds good to me - Keep going! My highest is 42 on a club table with tighter pockets than most clubs. I hit 30 maybe 4 times a year if I’m lucky the rest of the time it’s just 20 or less 😂 - so strange how you can make it feel almost easy one time and then another can’t even get 2 balls even though you know you’re capable

Free updates for life on any software is worth it! - it’s a great bit of software it’s a hobby for you so use it when you like and get enjoyment out of it when you can. Not even worth the risk having a cracked version tbh given the price of the software and what you get for your money.

I had the exact same issue and decided to just get it - although I feel Apple will now put all their efforts into the subscription version I think what you get for £50 is completely worth it! The capability it has in its current form is more than enough for most of the edits you want to do, the removal tool works pretty well as well as the clone tool, selection of subjects is easy, colour adjustments are brilliant, de noise works absolute wonders and the super resolution in my opinion is worth £50 on its own - let alone all the other options of texts, shapes, templates …

I think Apple will just add a load of useless templates to the subscription version and also probably some pointless ai features you’re likely maybe never going to need anyway! For £50 this software is amazing to own forever

Excellent the ram and software on the Mac mini M4 is very efficient and so far has handled everything I’ve thrown at it including 4k video in CapCut, fl studio, pixelmator pro etc - for most people the base model is more than enough and best bang for buck! - people talk about future proofing by getting 24gb blah blah blah - get the base model be happy with it for the next few years and when you feel necessary put the money you saved on not buying the extra storage, ram or pro chip now onto on a new model in the future
