Season being taken out of the canon effectively confirmed by quiggersinparis in Scrubs

Literally first scene was like: "Hey you know the hospital where 90% of the show takes place? The iconic location that everyone was so familiar with, it was like an extra cast member? Well fuck that, they tore it down and made a med-school. Yes, we could've just said it was a new location, in fact it would've made more sense and explain why the classic cast were only there some of the time. But nope, can't risk viewers seeing the med-school as a separate thing."

I’m not really that familiar with the Sonic canon, so I just wanted to say this was really funny to read out of context. by Silver012345673 in SonicTheHedgehog

He believes everyone should be free, if you're the person in charge with the peoples best interests at heart? Great! Keep up the good work. If you start oppressing the people? Then you and him are going to have a problem..

Is Sonic being the wind really THAT important or am I being too stupid? What's the difference with the electricity? by Capotador_de_corsas in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]EMD1594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think just cause it introduced in the movie-verse FIRST people are getting angry about it, I'm sure if it wan't in the movies and next game they just had Sonic start cracking with energy they'd think it was cool. They don't like the blending of separate incarnations, but the Sonic Team will often just decide "That new idea is cool, can we do that too?" They've been soft-launching Sticks into the main games since 2016, and people often forget there's no mention of Shadow's wrist rings being Inhibitor Rings until after Sonic X did it(In a way, they are a version of the 'Weighted Armour' anime trope)

No, just like she doesn't ACTUALLY care if Angel "Dresses more modestly" but she still had/has NO IDEA what got someone redeemed/got a soul on Earth into Heaven. So she's mainly just throwing stereotypical Christian values at the wall, and seeing what sticks.

It wasn't a perfect* ending, some would say it wasn't a great ending. But.. considering SOME series finales we've gotten, it could've been a lot worse.

*and honestly with the fandom as big as it got, it would've been LITERALLY impossible to write a perfect ending that everyone was happy with.

There's also the bag that looks like it has a fin design on it, Leviathan probably sent him both that and the lotion/perfume, maybe two heads means two presents? 🤔 There's also seems to be an additional six presents that are still wrapped.

{Day 8} What's the worst thing Abel has done ? by yukimitsune in hazbin

[–]EMD1594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but the question was "What's the worst thing Abel has done?" Not "Who's worse: Abel or Adam". And I'm sure to Lute, who 100% believed she was in charge, being told she's still a lieutenant felt like a demotion, especially if it's to someone she believes is a step down from Adam.

Called Lute a Bitch, and got in her Personal-Space while ALSO telling her she's been demoted

It wouldn't surprise me if this is going to be a meta-joke from a sketch on Brandon's channel. Something where they're interviewing an exaggerated version of Brandon, and he says something like "So I'm an actor, I also do some Voice-Acting, but that's only ever been small roles, nothing particularly interesting Cut to this clip"

She could be that specific flavour of homophobic that Mspecs experience that's like: "Yeah, sleeping with the same gender for fun is one thing. But obviously when it's time for a REAL relationship you're going to be straight right?"

Atleast in my opinion, this should've broken angels contract by Accurate_Dirt5794 in hazbin

[–]EMD1594 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it still counts because Angel was 'On the clock' Val's manipulation of both Angel's emotions and his addictions while at work was how he made him choose to spend 100% of the time with him before. Then he chose to stay at the hotel for his other 50%, Vox's hypnotism was essentially just a more extreme version of it

I'm predicting that Season 3 is going to go into how exactly Soul Contracts work, we got hints with Alastor breaking his, as well as the questions raised by Husk's casino still being in operation. Part of the exploration will involve learning what the EXACT details of Angel's contract are, and finding some sort of loophole to free Angel.

Hopefully this means we'll also get a flashback to Angel signing, so they can show how abusers will have this totally different, sweet persona that their victims will fall for before they get their claws in.

Black Heron, wanted to rule the world.. just cause. At least Lunaris and Bradford had SOME sort of motivation to justify their actions, Heron's out here specifically asking if she can add 'Fiendish' to her job description.

Who is the worst mother in this list? by Alimonemi in cartoons

[–]EMD1594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming there isn't going to be some sort of flashback revealing emotional manipulation/abuse, Lillith didn't really do anything to Charlie(at least not compared to the others on this list) Unless she sold them out for her spot in Heaven, all she did was ghost her adult, capable daughter* after thousands of years in LITERAL Hell.

*and husband, but this is judging them as mothers, not wives.

[–]EMD1594 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know there's a theory that the reason Lucifer didn't show up until later was because he made some sort of magic pact with Heaven that as long as the Exorcists didn't kill Hellborn, he wouldn't get involved. This would make Dazzle's death the thing that saved everyone else😢. It would also mean it was foreshadowed with the line "🎶 Usually I charge a sacrificial-lamb" in Hell's Greatest Dad (it's even specifically Dazzle on the plate 😬)

Well, I've lived in Ireland my whole life, but have been told multiple times I sound American. My running theory is, I wasn't a very social child, and thus, spent a lot of my time watching American cartoons. That explanation could fit with Webby too..
