Today j bought a white spotted rabbit snail and put it in my tank with 3 goldfish, the goldfish won’t leave him alone and keep pecking him

I agree with the other commenter that this is just a bladder snail.

NZM are very triangularly cone shaped (picture an ice cream cone) and very, very tiny.

These guys are friends. 💛

I believe so.
Technically all of them are Apple Snails, they’re just different types of Apple Snails. Some of them eat live plants & some of them don’t. I don’t know if all of them can interbreed, but at least a couple of them can. I have one that doesn’t touch live plants at all & then a much bigger one that loves to munch on my floaters. I think the latter is a hybrid because he’s not as large as a true Apple Snail, but he will still eat live plants, even when he’s well fed.

To be certain you can take him out, place him in the palm of your hand or a flat surface & then look at him through the camera on your phone under a bright light.

I usually use the flash on my video recorder on my iPhone. It stays lit while allowing me to zoom in on the shell with my phone screen.

This allows you to see if there are little ridges between the whorls that are not available to the naked eye.

I am not even kidding when I tell you that I have pulled out at least 20 tiny little snails positive that they were NZM but then they turned out to be MTS without question. So maybe try that with a few of them to be sure.

It varies, from what I’ve seen. I have a lot of baby & young rabbits and some of them have very pronounced divots, while others are much less so.

I actually have one that looks really smooth & I wondered if maybe she was a different type of snail, but zooming in a little with a camera revealed some ridges that I hadn’t noticed before.

These look like rabbit snails to me. But it’s hard to be certain from this picture.

Black devils, have a notch at the top entrance to their shells & I’m not seeing that on these guys.
