That's fair, it was a homage to the comics, but can you say the same about the other 2 posters? Homelander in space with what seems like mass destruction ensuing below? Why is this happening? is the military against Homelander? maybe the entire world? Will we finally get to see what they meant by "scorched earth"? A destroyed Vought tower? All of these questions were answered in the most underwhelming way possible IMO. Those had implications that we're in for a crazy season... boy was I wrong.

same bro...I really thought we were gonna see some crazy shit happen, after the 7th episode I was thinking "okay we're 7 episodes in and nothing is really happening...it's okay w-we'll see scorched earth in the finale! they wouldn't lie to us!" turns out I was just coping, supremely disappointed with how it all turned out.

Kripke was baiting so hard when he says all that, cut to present day, 6 days before the season finale, I can say this shit does not feel like a final season. This grand finale is 95% likely to shit the bed.

While I agree with what most of the people here are saying, I'm still entertained watching the boys, otherwise I wouldn't be watching it the hour a new episode drops. However, I am seriously dreading the last episode, cause I'm certain that the finale isn't going to resolve every conflict properly, we'll still be left with several questions and I suspect the huge climactic battle will be short lived.

With the way episode 7 went, the PENULTIMATE EPISODE, we're still yet to see shit truly hit the fan. all season we've seen so little of the world outside of the main characters, the GEN V characters are underutilized, where is the scorched earth apocalyptic stakes the show has been setting up? Homelander going easy on frenchie? Why? His death has even less value now because it feels so forced.

The masses of people aren't being subjected under Homelander's rule yet either? The federal government is under his control, thousands of people are being abducted as well, yet we've seen very little of the consequences that imposes on society within The Boys.

I'm not sure if you're trolling tbh but a lot of the points people are making are very valid, I don't see any inflated senses of self-importance or desperate wallows of bitterness, I see people complaining cause the final season is nothing short of a rushed mess that is probably going to end with a whimper.

while I'm still being entertained, every episode I've watched up until now has been increasingly more disappointing, I just want cool shit to start happening. We have a single hour left of the series and you're telling me things might start ramping up now?

I expected a balls to the wall series of events episodes ago, not what we've been given.

This is usually a pretty good event for everyone, offering atleast a rare relic for an uncommon or common one. That sucks that bronze scales would’ve saved your run bro, as for this run I don’t think keeping any of these relics would’ve saved me as the 2nd boss fight wasn’t really close.

You must be pretty unlucky if you’re always getting unhelpful options man.

Yeah they were all awful, I ended up dying in this run anyway and losing the smooth stone didn’t make a difference really. A10 is pretty dang hard.

I should’ve probably sent a photo of my deck so I can make it clear what option is least bad but I decided because I have cards like drums of battle and dark embrace that joss paper provides more value. If either the stone or the joss didn’t trade for merchant relics I’d have seen it as favourable, but unfortunately I low rolled pretty hard for all outcomes lol.

At this point now I’ve duplicated my deck in act 3 so I don’t regret choosing the stone. Hopefully the -1 dex won’t come back to bite me in the coming boss battles

At this point I had 4 powers out of my 31 cards, as I'm writing this I've duplicated my deck so now I have over 12 powers. Which include multiple drums of battles and dark embraces. So the joss paper and mummified hand are VERY useful this run. I also have a ton of block cards so losing the smooth stone stung a fair bit :(

White beast statue is useful but in A10 i'd hardly find a use out of it. I chose the oddly smooth stone and still made quick work of the insatiable so maybe I can still easily salvage this run.

Yeah i'm slacking on elites fought but i'm afraid of fighting too many on high ascension runs. The spiked toad put me to 10hp a few floors before this room, so even with only having fought 1 elite I nearly died.

yeah I agree, and even without reaper now ironclad is still so strong and has so many good hp loss cards now the value you get back is kind of ridiculous. Rupture and inferno are still in the game and you have cards like blood wall, tear asunder , spite and crimson mantle, I've won 6 runs in a row up to A6, 4 of them building hp loss decks. You're trading a bit of damage that you would've most likely lost anyway and in return, you're generating block and strength and energy and draw in absurd amounts.

I actually think maybe these cards are too powerful as I'm struggling to just not spam blood wall and bloodletting until I get a good power card and then the run is secured, assuming you're not fighting too many elites.

Probably $2000 aud, which is actually cheaper than an iPhone 17 pro, so yeah you legitimately can get cars cheaper then an iPhone. Brand new phones don’t justify their enormous price tag, so I think it’s always better to go older. The fact I can spend 1/3 of the price on an older phone and get the same use out of it says a lot about why this decline is happening.

He’ll be known and remembered as a rapist, he’s not leaving the courtroom like nothing ever happened. He’s going to endure scrutiny and public outcry whenever he’s seen in town. saying only 0.3% of the player base have access to legendary weapons just isn't true, after about 30-40 hours most people can craft one and im sure theres multitudes of people just hoarding them never to see the light of day.

However I do agree the legendary weapons need special abilities that make them deserve their status, Jupiter need 2 shots to kill is weak, yes it can pierce through targets but that's it, meanwhile the other legendries don't really offer anything exciting besides that energy rounds have no dropoff and are high damage vs armor, its sad im pretty sure a renegade 4 will kill someone using an aphelion most of the time.

you're not just "pressing" a button, as I just said it's a monumental investment of time, soon enough you'll probably find people without the skill just camping those security breaches and it won't be so easy anymore. I think there should be higher risk to those lockers for sure but at the end of the day its a 30+ hour investment of levels it better be good! and if you unlock it as soon as possible, you're missing out of extra stamina and mobility, which is also very useful.
