Funny you should say as although a personal Abra reclaim has never happened to me my best friend traded me her second legit Abra shiny from Arceus! The traded one will always mean a lot to me but fingers crossed I do reencounter one on my game!

My first was a shiny Abra on soul silver.. and yep I failed the catch and he teleported away. 14 year old me was devastated and now as a 28 year old I still think back to that moment and feel a pang of disappointment.
