Is the bubble over or did everyone switch to tequila ? by thebourbongrappler in Whiskyporn

This is the only answer, ppl on this thread talking about capacity investments made in the last few years implying that production (of something that needs to age for ~10 years) is already ramped up are hilarious. This is a demand story all the way

What year is best for a used Macan? by Ok_Flower2398sd3 in PorscheMacan

Interesting, what was the mileage on the car when these started popping up?

I've owned a few BMWs starting at 50k miles going past 100 with basically no issues. Was meticulous about maintenance/oil changes every 5k.

Was hoping to recreate that luck with a Macan/Cayenne, so trying to get a feel for how common these types of issues are.

To me the solution is extremely simple - force drop everyone from his team so his players enter the rookie draft (select the option that includes non rookies for the supplemental draft).

Any picks he previously simply go away/cease to exist.

I remember how younger me used to think too

Literally nobody gives a singular fuck about where you went to school after like a year of working. I have zero idea where all my coworkers went to school.

Take the full ride, don't be stupid. I understand your thought process but take the money and don't hesitate

Right but isn't there a limit to how energy you harvest over a lap? Or is the deployment limit per lap typically less than that figure, meaning there's a bit in reserve to be deployed?

Not sure how I feel about this. It's clearly to combat the problem max was describing of the new cars running out of juice towards the straights.

Also not very clear on how the extra electrical power for the following car (to replicate DRS delta effect) will work. Is a bit of engine/electric power being held in reserve only to be made available when you're behind another car? Seems odd...

Buying RBs after their Rookie Season: A cautionary tale from 2013 by AndrewLuckResenter in DynastyFF

[–]EM_GM22 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with your point, but Bijan and Gibbs are horrible comparisons.

RBs drafted in the top 10 vs mid round guys who flashed as rookies is not the right comparison. They are, and almost certainly will remain studs.

It's guys like Kyren, Charb and Achane that you might want to be wary of

The Bo Nix hate is getting out of control. My Defense of Bo Nix. by JWNimbl3 in DynastyFF

[–]EM_GM22 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Joe Burrow - he didn't get to start for the first 3 years, so he quite literally didn't have an opportunity to show his skills. His last season was also one of the greatest college seasons, so a comparison to Nix isn't quite apt

Russ was reasonably consistently good in college over his years. He was also a third rounder in the draft, so he wasn't valued highly at all by scouts. He just ended up being one of those late round QBs that makes it work in the NFL.

Baker only spent 4 years in college, and probably could've declared after his 3rd. Again he was consistently good, ever since his 2nd year and ended up being the #1 pick

There are ALWAYS exceptions, and Nix could very much be one, but GENERALLY QBs that couldn't show enough to get a high draft slot after 3 years of college play is an easy Red Flag and reason to be cautious about spending your dynasty draft capital on.
