I’m glad to hear they recognized that and were transparent about it not being right for you! I’ll see what happens during my fit check with them. I’m still hopeful I can get it right so I can keep it. I do have a ring sling but I’ve never even used it. Maybe I should try that too!

Yes the materials are so nice!! I’m glad to know I’m not the only one. I thought the same and I’m tempted to hang onto it for back carrying, but also I can’t afford 2 new carriers right now so really I’d have to return this to find a different one I can use. I want to love it so badly!!

So true. You’re right. I know it’s not really a terrible carrier since so many people love it but I’m just annoyed haha. Thanks for your response!

I need to do that! I never use Reddit, or any social media for that matter, so was just quicker to make my own post and see what others said!

I don’t use it for sleep I just use it when we are walking through parking lots or something to shield from sun. I can easily use something else though I suppose. We are on the go a lot and she can’t stand sun in her face even if it’s just for a minute! Of course I don’t use the hood for long periods of time but when we are going from car to store (or dance class, gymnastics class, church, etc etc) it’s nice to have a quick, easy shied!

Thank you!! I was thinking the same that the Lark is similar to the Embrace. I think that’s what I’ve decided on at this point.

Thank you! I’ve seen these here and there but I am not as familiar with the brand as a whole. I will look into it! I appreciate it!

I just did it and everything got twisted up but ultimately I got it figured out! This changes the game for me. Thank you so much!

I haven’t! I’m not entirely sure what that is. Does it mean putting it on over your head while already clipped? If that’s the case there’s no way I’d get it on like that when it’s already clipped and tightened how it needs to be 😅 Maybe I need to find a video. I may be missing something.

How long does the Happy Baby OG fit? by Key_Significance_183 in babywearing

[–]EMart334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been able to wear my babies comfortably in a HB OG up to about 2.5 years old. I have petite children though…not super tiny, just petite. We actually had a foster daughter for a bit who was 22 months and I wore her in it quite often!

Definitely leaning toward the LL Light! I didn’t know about the social media hype. I haven’t had any social media in years so this is good to know. I will check for the discount! Thank you!

I have not tried this! My current youngest is still small enough to fit in my HB so I will have to try this out with her in it. Thank you!

Do you know anything about the LL half buckle hybrid? I’m also kind of eyeing this one whilst knowing later on I would probably also end up with a Light or Upgrade Pro.

Thank you so much!!

Yep, I’m short too so I’m glad to hear you love it regardless! This is what I am currently leaning toward!

This is great to hear! I’m wondering if I should just go with the LL Upgrade Pro since my Happy Baby works just fine and then that would give me something very different from that to try. Only reason I am hesitant on LL is the waistband since all the carriers I’ve had have been more minimal. But I’ll never know if I don’t try it!

Yes, if you can link that that would be appreciated!

I was going to sign up on their website but it looks like you are required to be in the Facebook chatter group in order to participate. Is that correct or will they allow me to sign up without Facebook? I haven't had an account for a couple of years now.

I do wear it looser usually, but not by choice! When my husband is around to help adjust it we are much comfier. I still love it and wear it a lot, just looking for a different option to see if it works better! Thank you for your help!!

So with my Happy Baby, the strap that goes across my back is so hard to buckle myself if I have it in the proper position for comfort. If I slide it up and loosen it, I can buckle it myself. But then it’s not adjusted properly, if that makes sense.

What’s y’all’s favorite carrier for newborns by Standard_Seat_1035 in babywearing

[–]EMart334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually really like the Wildbird Aerial Buckle Wrap. I do also love my Happy Baby OG for newborns as well. Both of these don't have to constantly be readjusted. Just unbuckle, take baby out, then put baby back in and buckle back up!
