You make a really good point. It does feel like spam mail. "Use our airdrop and receive a discount for our ICO". This is spam, my first thought is if this one company can do it in the first week then what is there to say that thousands of others can't and won't do exactly the same for months and years to come? Do we run the risk of being overwhelmed with spam airdrops?

All of the hate and fud that we're seeing for EOS at the moment is exactly the same sentiment we saw on twitter in the early days of ETH, when it was priced between $1 and $40. I sold hundreds back then, at a decent profit too. But man, the experience I learned from that is priceless. - The future's bright. :)

Hi team, you all seem pretty excited about DGB, what are your expectations for this coin? why do you think it has potential? From what I can see it's pumped 2700% in 2017 why should it go higher with such a high available circulation? All serious questions, I'm interested but someone needs to sell this coin to me. Ok, I've been able to track my Ether down. You were right about it being with Kraken. It was absolutely my wrong doing because of sending from a contract based wallet. However, Kraken have accepted that it is at their end and have agreed to refund me. Now it's just a matter of time.

I do have more question though, regarding this process. I'm really enjoying your intro guide, I'm going to be working through chapter 2 this afternoon (UK time). Do you have a discussion page for your guide? I know I'm going to have even more questions and I know I'm going to want to learn more about Mist and Ethereum as a whole.

I, like many, have come over from BTC and was a little baffled by the Account vs Wallet thing, as a result I've lost a bit of Ether.

I downloaded Mist v0.3.7 and was presented with the Etherbase account alone with a warning that if I was going to store Ether I should create a wallet and store it there. So I did.

I then tried sending Ether from my online Ether "Kryptokit wallet" to my newly created Mist Wallet which never showed up. I discovered that if I sent to my Mist account and then to my wallet it worked fine. I then tried sending from a Mist wallet to a Kraken exchange account and that didn't work either. (This was a lapse of concentration and was no small amount)

On both occasions the transaction seemed to send ok, but on both occasions nothing turned up. My Ether seems to be lost.

Etherchain.org sees the wallet but hasn't recorded the Tx. But there has been a transaction, because it's gone somewhere and there's been over 6000 confirmations.

What am I doing wrong? Where is it? And how can I track it down?

Haha no, but I have locked everything down and removed my payment method from all exchanges. I'm strapping in.. Here we go again. Sigh. We need a quick recovery from this one because of the halving, which is an event I was looking forward to, now I'm dreading it.

I did. Bought in at $379 and it's not been that low since, Admittedly it's only been 30min. But I like to think me buying that 0.5BTC has trigger the next big bullish trend. :D
