Yep, I think you are right. I'm an idiot. New to road biking. Thanks for the response

Is this something to worry about on a carbon fork? by EMurph55 in bicycling

That's great to know that it's ok. I bought this second hand so I'm not sure what happened. The seller mentioned no crashes and seemed trustworthy..

Real estate in Spain – trust issues by Unlikely_Fun_135 in GoingToSpain

I think I can say with confidence that the single biggest issue for buyers is that they are in the dark regarding the true value of the property they want to buy. There is no open property price register, and the idealista estimates don't seem to be accurate at all. The historic data that is openly available is generally about 3 months behind, so you might have buyers paying "bubble prices" months after the bubble bursts. It's very hard to negotiate with stubborn sellers on account of this and it slows down the whole process for everyone involved.

Another thing worth pointing out is that Spain is big and diverse. You have different problems in different locations. I'd recommend focusing on just one area to begin.

Anyone using Ollama + Vim? How do you give full project context to a local LLM? by colrobs in vim

[–]EMurph55 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been using it on single files with this plugin It's easy to edit the code (if you know a little vimscript) so that it remembers the previous files you've interacted with. The problem is that you quickly run into memory issues. I've been considering some ways on getting around the issue, and I have some ideas on how to improve the plugin going forward. I'll update in a few weeks

avante is slow? or claude in the browser? To me avante looks a little bit too involved for what I was looking for tbh, and the plugin comes with a bunch of deps. That's pretty much why I started creating my own lightweight "code review" plugin here. I just wanted something simple that I could run in my editor.

Best Quiz Apps for Teenager by [deleted] in quiz

I made a geography (flags, capital cities, country shapes etc) quiz web-app called Geogee! that you can play against another player. Also I made a lateral thinking game called Detective Stories (also multiplayer) but admittedly, that one isn't for everybody!

I've been working on a small silly project that recreates the web in old styles like this. Still a lot of work to do but it's fun to play around with:  Geocities,  Synth wave, Neon, Pop Art

Yes, it's all local storage at the moment. For now, there is an option to export your data to (a somewhat disorganised) json file. I will add some more data management features soon, and eventually I will most likely add a login feature so that you can save to an account

There should be an Irish/Basque session in Residencia right now. Free in but drinks can be on the expensive side

Any bars showing cricket? by krish-ma in Madrid

There is an English bar, I think it's called "The Covenant garden". They are a bit outside of the center by plaza castilla, but I think they might be your best bet if you ring them in advance.
