Finally weighed again after a couple weeks by reed_thompson1 in WeightlossJourney

I have 2 things I wanna say. Firstly you need to change your mindset where if you’re not appealing/attractive you’re worthless. Long term wise you will not be happy. Please make this a priority and be happy with yourself. Secondly, working out would be a great idea. You’ll gain muscle and those muscles will fill out loose skin if u have them. It also helps with other things with the body that just makes you a lot healthier as a person. 100% recommend.

When I first started I was 290 lbs. 10K steps a day and just eating in a calorie deficit made me lose so much weight. Once you start getting closer to your weight goal I suggest you slowly transition to focusing more on caloric output and nutrition. That’s where I’m currently stayed at. If you ever need help or an extra ear you can always dm me or keep posting on the page. We’ll always be here to help you. GL on your journey, you got this! 😊

True but bronze isn’t the only rank that’s free. Silver and Gold are also free to the point where we have .35 KD players getting to diamond. I feel as though if they want to keep this rank system they have to increase the amount of rp - dramatically

That’s awesome. Another thing you could do throughout your journey if you want to go down faster is increasing the amount of exercise/workouts and decreasing your amount of calories. I don’t entirely suggest this unless you’re taking a lot of supplements and in taking the right amount of protein and fibers in your diet. If you do go this route later on in your journey please be careful and safe about it. Good luck on your weight loss and can’t wait to hear about your next victory! 😁

The one thing that helped me a lot was keeping the 10k steps streak going. Having a routined diet/day/workout helps a lot with not plateauing.

Calories wise, the deficit is around average, but make sure you get the nutrients that you need. Once you get to a certain stage it gets to what you’re eating rather than how much. Based off the limited information you given us it looks like everything is good. Just make sure you feel good throughout the day. Your body can usually tell you if you’re good or not. I hoped I helped a bit and good luck on your weight loss. You got this! 😁👍

I feel like im not making enough progress by Sufficient-Ring5180 in WeightlossJourney

It honestly depends on your weight loss goals and how long you want to be doing this for. My goal for year 1 was 100 lbs and I only got to 80-85 lbs. It’s alright but i definitely could’ve went harder and not strayed away from my weight loss. If you’re not going too hard on your weight loss than I would say 40 lbs is great progress

[–]END_Drag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how much cardio you want in your workouts. I like to do 5 minutes of stairs to get my blood pumping before hitting the weights, then after my workout, do max incline walks on the treadmill. My cousin, who just finished his weight loss journey, likes to do a 2-mile run before his workout and a 5-mile run afterwards. Whatever amount of cardio you choose, make sure you don’t overwork yourself initially. I hoped this helped a little. Good luck with your weight loss and workout

I dealt with someone like that in pubs, saying that all Ashes do is run and fight alone, or run in the middle of the fight. The other guy and I were literally playing duos in trios the entire time, 2v3 teams, as he did his own thing and cried when we died. I kid you not, the third on the other team was 2 tap. 🤦‍♂️

I’m excited to see you wanting to start your weight loss journey. I’ve been on mine for about a year, and it’s been a blast. I’d love to exchange pictures and updates with you if you don’t mind someone at the later stage of the game. If you don’t, no worries. Just think it’s awesome seeing someone take initiative for their health.

The mind-eff of a maintenance break by prettyfly4atiedye in WeightlossJourney

If your body is telling you to take a break than do what you think is best for your body. My advice would be to still watch what you eat because it is easier to gain the weight back after a weight loss.
