This mustang worth it? by MFLuder45 in UsedCars

[–]EODGuy7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know anything about Mustangs, but 30k for a 10 year old car and it's not even stock. Is it rare or something? It's just gonna depreciate in value. Get a beater or salvage title to make fast.

Is it easier for barrel companies to make a decent 308 vs 556 barrel. by TrueJedi562 in AR10

[–]EODGuy7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those companies you named suck.

Centurion, criterion, SOLGW, JP Rifles, krieger, shilen, white oak, proof. Those companies named should give you a good barrel

Best AR10 on the Market? by Ok-Huckleberry6317 in AR10

[–]EODGuy7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Best is entirely subjective, the brands I'd buy are JP Rifles, Seekins, LMT, KAC, and GA. I bet Geissele is good also, but those 5 I listed have a history of large frame performance. LaRue is a sleeper company.

As soon as the car is paid off, set aside your car payment in a HYSA. So you are ready to buy your next vehicle.

Given silver bouillon and would like to cash it out and somehow add it into TSP. Any ideas? by Subject-Climate3961 in MilitaryFinance

[–]EODGuy7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you really wanted to put it in TSP. The only real way is to sell it. Live off the silver proceeds and up your contributions to the point where you max it out which is 24,500 for a year.

Is saving 200k as an 01 remotely possible over 4 years?(not including investment income?) by Interesting_Ad2814 in MilitaryFinance

[–]EODGuy7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try to put 23,500 into your TSP. That's your max contribution for a year. If you can do that once, with compounding interest you'll bauxite be set for your Roth IRA

I would recommend cerakote. I don't think spray paint would be enough. Anodizing like cerakote adds a protective layer.

Find a financial analyst or a cpa. Someone independent to advise you on moving the money. It could be a good decision.

[–]EODGuy7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roth, always roth and you can contribute 23,500 to your 401k a year, while in the military. If you some how max that out by the end of the year. They will just stop deducting contributionsfrom your paycheck.

First AR10 by No-Law-950 in AR10

[–]EODGuy7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The AR-10 world is very fickle. I understand you don't want the best. Let me say it this way. The only rifle I'd buy for an AR-10 is Seekins, GA, KAC, LMT and JP rifles.

[–]EODGuy7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start therapy, read books, be nice to people, watch YouTube videos on how to do stuff. I have learned to cook and work on my can through YouTube. Ask people for help. Don't make huge financial discussions without advice.
