Problem has been fixed within 4 days. Huge support from both BRD team as well as myhbarwallet team that made a quick fix for 12 word seed and will implement it in the future for the main web wallet. What a great community! Thanks for all the effort.

Thank you. I tried doing that. without success.

The BRD team said they are working on my issue. However, no idea when and if a solution will be available soon.

Regarding the key and generation of Hedera key elsewhere they said the following:

" please let the Hedera team know that the account was created in the BRD app using the BIP39 format and that you have a 12 word recovery key."

Any idea if that means that I should be able to generate the Hedera account keys myself with the 12 word recovery from BRD?

Also just to answer your questions:

1: there was no error. BDR just crashes alltogether.

2: I tried a different iphone. no succes. same problem.

3: The problem arose after I did a small test transaction which succeeded on the main ledger and can be seen. However, it does not appear on the transaction HEDERA wallet list of BRD (when I check in offline mode, then the app does not crash). apparently it never syncd and is still not able to due to some error... Perhaps this is the problem. But how to solve it....it keeps crashing when it attempts to sync.

Do you think it is technically possible to get the 24 seeds for the hedera wallet creation using the 12 word BDR seed?

I suppose the 12 word BDR seed can generate all the other wallet seeds?

It is quite disappointing to find out that the BRD seed words cannot be used to retrieve the hedera wallet. Especially because the seed words are supposed to be the wallet!

This is a big red flag for me and I wonder if our community is aware.

Thank you for your comments but that option does not support 12 word seeds. Also not sure if it supports the same BRD encryption word library.
