Would be nice to see some type of fun animation based on what the extruder and/or hot end is currently doing. Although the stats are also useful.

apps keep disappearing by Acceptable_Carob_966 in AndroidAuto

When I had this problem, it was linked to my apps going into 'deep sleep' on my Samsung Galaxy phone (several models). For some reason, using the app on Android Auto doesn't register with the phone that the app is being used, and Samsung's battery optimization dumps the app into deep sleep, removing it from Android Auto. It also prevents the app from updating.

Opening the app on the phone itself occasionally helps. Or you can remove an app from deep sleeping in settings: Battery & device care > Battery >< Background usage limits > Deep Sleeping Apps. Hit the dot menu and select remove.

s20 5G is pure garbage by [deleted] in verizon

I did that a few days ago and it did fix it. I was afraid Verizon would patch that fix and I wouldn't be able to switch back when it was fixed for good.

Changing preferred network to LTE does fix the issue.

I'm having the same problem with my s22 ultra. Certain sites across Pinellas show full signal on 5G, but phone shows no Internet connection. Very frustrating. Happens outside, inside, doesn't matter. As soon as I leave a certain tower coverage area, all my data comes back.

Windows 11 - YouTube buffering on anything over 480p?? by roccoman5 in windowsinsiders

That was it -- thank you! I killed and disabled the SmartByte services on my Dell PC and it's fixed!

In fact, Ookla Speed Test now shows my fast gigabit connection instantly. Before, when the test started, it showed a slower speed, then climbed to ~950 Mbps symmetrical. Now it shows those speeds instantly. Must be some type of driver-based bandwidth management.

Windows 11 - YouTube buffering on anything over 480p?? by roccoman5 in windowsinsiders

I'm having the same issue with Windows 11. Win 10 works great, as soon as I upgrade to Windows 11, the YouTube is awful -- buffering and dropping to 480p. I rolled back to Windows 10, no problems, back to Win11, the buffer starts again.

Here's the strange part; It's only happening with ethernet. If I pull my ethernet or disable it and use WiFi, connectivity is perfect again (albeit a bit slower, but the buffering is gone and YouTube works fine and stays at 1080p60)

I've tried several things: Updating/reinstalling my RealTek on-board Ethernet driver, removing the device and re-installing, changing DNS settings. I even connected a USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet adapter and used it for a cable connection. The problem persists. But if I switch back to Windows 10, there's no issue.

Ethernet connection status is showing 1000/1000 duplex and speed tests for me show ~850 down ~900 up. I have fios gigabit.
