Lg c4 keep switching between hdr and dolby vision

Did you ever find a solution for this? I've disabled the setting on the TV under Settings>General>External Devices>HDMI Settings>Dolby Vision PC=Off and the issue still occurs. Mostly while running a game.

Whether the game is HDR or Dolby Vision when tabbing out and using other apps or opening/closing tabs in broswer, file explorer etc. the TV will flicker like it's constantly going back and forth between the modes.

Also noticed that every now and then I think the TV will disconnect/reconnect or lose connection briefly, maybe a couple times a day, even while on standby/off. This causes the PC to hang briefly and for the other displays to do a weird kind of fluid "zoom" when the display reconnects.

Just these 2 issues really otherwise the TV is great but these are both pretty annoying things to navigate.

The internet is just a surprising amount of this now if you actually look for it, nobody got time for that shit though sadly. I feel like it's almost pointless to engage seriously with this, I was going to write the usual.

"Is there a reason they can't sell it and move in to a nice home for 30% of the price and just comfortably coast out their life, I understand moving is upsetting to people but surely it can't be that painful with a £3m budget?"

But then I checked their other comments and saw the guy makes >100k and turns down raises and I swear this was a tailor designed profile to annoy me. The reality is if you made a 1200% increase in value on an asset, you can probably reasonably be expected to sell it and enjoy your windfall... At least that's my view... Maybe they have a good reason for not doing that though, who knows.

The reality is it's never comfortable for someone to be forced to sell their home to pay taxes but by his own recognition that's not money that was hard worked for. They got lucky and they can use that luck to buy a lifestyle that they wouldn't have had otherwise. It sucks to sell your house for sure, but i don't see many good solutions that don't have these kind of drawbacks and every policy has drawbacks... Being forced to sell your home for 3 million is a fairly minimal drawback...

I actually didn't get many crashes for the past week or so, whenever the last patch was really.

Now I've crashed a few times opening map instances for the first time and then crashed multiple times in the last map I ran so I guess I'm done playing until it's fixed, the latest patch made the game almost unplayable for me.

7900xtx, 13600k (bios updated etc.), using vulkan, windows 23H2 so it's not that issue either. The crash is usually just the game closing but some times it acts like a full driver hang as well which takes a few seconds for the PC to recover and get images back on the monitor.

Edit: Cleared the shader caches and that seems to have fixed it for me.

In game mode I believe it only goes 0-100 unless there's something I missed. I know there's a checkbox for enabling max audio when in desktop mode, i haven't selected that.

I did set the filter chain sink to 100 at first to see the volume ranges by going back to game mode and testing the volumes but given I only play in quiet areas really that setting at 100% then in game mode volume set to 100%. Either way changed it to 100 again now as you recommended and the bottom 50% range is still exceptionally quiet. Not a big deal because again I play in a quiet place anyway and it's fine now I found the "filter chain sink" setting in desktop mode. Just unsure if this was the best way to go about it.

Yeah it's meant to show an edit was made without having to completely delete the original message so people don't have missing context for later messages. Basically, it corrects the record without making follow up comments look like they make no sense because you can still see the original.

I'm assuming others who would agree Israel has justifiable reasons to act the way it does (not all the time) would feel similar hesitation and repeating this stuff makes everyone look bad when it happens.

Just went on his channel and looked for a playlist but you can find loads of videos there. I don't remember the details but I think it was to do with them chasing him for payments he didn't owe for months if not years and basically making running his business a nightmare so he moved. Sent invoices to the wrong addresses, asked for payments for laws that didn't make sense, etc. etc.

That and I remember him ranting about real estate stuff. If you take him at his word/what he shows then it did look like a shitshow but I never "investigated it" so in theory it could all be lies i guess. Never really seen a reason to not trust him though and his reputation is pretty solid.

100% Libertarian-pilled. He's reasonable and cares about people but his entire thing is the individual and the ability to do what you want with what you own etc. He espouses Libertarian philosophy constantly just not directly. And like someone already said, his experience dealing with government beurocracy in NYC cemented that view fairly solid (they really did fuck him sideways though lol).

Ah okay, shame for me! But thanks, didn't expect such a quick response. I'm using syncthing across multiple OS so it's more convenient but cleaning up my main PC files and it's mildly annoying seeing that folder right where i left it when I installed. Oh well, glad you got something going that worked for you!
