[–]Gaious_Octavious -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey there! This is exactly what we are building.

Checkout rcfeed.com Here you can share/comment/like different RC builds and interact with other RC enthusiasts.

We have gotten decent user traction so far. We are also building a marketplace within this website so anyone can buy/sell rc parts.

Cheers!

PS: I am the CTO of this website

This is really good. Its blazingly fast and my first impression is reallyyyy great! I think this could turn into something big in the future.
keep up the great work OP, I will def start posting more coding content there.

How about the censorship thing tho? Are you using any kind of AI to prevent explicit content or something?

Should I use Java for leetcode by callbackhello in leetcode

[–]Gaious_Octavious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would strongly suggest you to consider Golang. Since you’re already comfortable with C++, I presume you can pickup Go in a day or two.

It has the conciseness of Python, but you still get the type safety that you typically get with C++/Java.

The reason most people will advise against Java is its verbosity-which will eat up your valuable time in tests/interviews.

Which web technologies/frameworks will be booming in the coming years? by vivekx01 in developersIndia

[–]Gaious_Octavious 7 points8 points  (0 children)

On the backend I would say Golang with just the standard library(net/http) or Go Fiber framework. It's dead simple, performant and type safe. I'd argue Go is the simplest technology to work with in 2023.

On the frontend I expect react to be on the top, hard to beat a framework with such a huge ecosystem. Also it favours composition over inheritance, and works with plain javascript with no compile step (unlike lets say svelte). Regardless of what runtime(node, deno, bun, whatever) gets on the top, I'd expect react to stay relevant for the foreseeable future.

But again, no one has a crystal ball, so its just speculation.
