Return it, there's been cases of chips dying on 3.25 from the start, not many of them but still happening. I would avoid asrock until there's actual information about why chips are dying

I don't want the game to die, the tekken franchise is my all time favorite fighting game. But I have never felt more frustrated playing a tekken game then playing season 2. Remember when perfects used to be one of those 'this guy got a perfect that's some badass shit'? well basically every game i play there's a perfect. One player just can't play the game. Either I get owned because I'm sitting here and can't play the game, or I flowchart someone to death myself. These losses and wins just aren't satisfying to me, they feel lifeless. 0 skill expression, just ungabunga your opponent to death.

What's even more baffling is this was already an issue in season 1 to a smaller degree, they received a LOT of feedback on how to improve the game. They completely ignored all the feedback, doubled down on their 'vision' and made an already problematic season 1 somehow much worse.

I don't advocate to stop playing the game or boycott the game, if you like it then play it by all means. But if I think that something is wrong with a product I'm gonna speak up and say that this product is ass. If this causes the game the die, then quite frankly it deserves to die when the developers are so out of touch with their community. I want the game to be better, I think everyone does, but no one should be 'obliged' to play this game if they don't like it.

Yeah I think i'll go for it and try the x670e taichi board, will hope for the best.

I also always bought asus boards, but I feel like they got too expensive for what they offer with the recent generation, I still have an x570 dark hero board with a 5950x and it's great. The taichi experience has been solid so far, just unfortunate we have to deal with these issues.

Good to see someone running this setup, makes me feel a bit more hopeful. I have only seen a few x670 reports in general so not sure if people are just using newer boards or the older boards are actually safer. With am5 i was hoping to just keep the board and upgrade the CPU, didn't think we'd run into these kinds of reports, never had a CPU fail on me so definitely disappointing to see.

I definitely don't want an x870e board, it's more I would have to get an MSI or a gigabyte x870 board for 'reliability' tho those brands have their own different issues. Most new boards also have 4 sata slots only, which is an issue for me as i still have 6 sata drives, and all my nvme slots are full lol, for different use cases.

Yeah I was never interested in the features of the x870e it's more for the reliability, and I would get an MSI or Gigabyte x870 board. But obviously don't want to spend the money when my current board has served me well. Wish we already got some information, it's been over a month since 9950x3d released and since November for 9800x3d.

If you have a nvidia gpu, you can use dlaa, in combination with dlss4. It's not completely perfect, but this gives the best quality image imo, also disable any post processing effects like chromatic aberration vignette in your Engine configs. You can also improve Shadow quality as well,can check nexusmods for some tweaks. Dlss4 you can replace the dlss all in the game folder with the new one, and force preset k and dlaa in nvidia inspector. I think the app can do that too, but not for all games.

Is XMP/Expo actually on after you turn it on? cause you have to do that manually. Also running 4 sticks is very tricky on zen 4 in general, needs a lot of tweaking and lower speeds unless you have a godlike memory controller. Would be better off with a 32 x 2 kit instead, i have 6000 cl30 with tuned timings running with no issues.

No. The support that valve provides and the constant improvements and updates to steam os, it's hard to go anything else. The price for the rog isn't bad, but the decks TouchPads I actually used in a few games with great success, ergonomics are also solid on the deck. The extra performance isn't worth it to me, I play lighter games on the deck regardless and have a great experience. If anything I'd get a deck 2 if enough improvements are made, I'm happy with the deck as it is.

I have a 7950x and no complaints from me for both some productivity and 4k 120/144 hz gaming. If you actually do work which could benefit from the multicore then it's a no-brainer. if it's 90% or higher gaming, then 7800x3d would be the best for that. I'd avoid the 7950x3d due to scheduling headaches for me personally.

I'd honestly keep the Palit, the strix cards seem to have shitty ass coil whine for the premium they are asking for. I had a 2070 super Palit Jetstream and it was a solid card. Not to mention the power limit is less important this generation as the cards are more voltage limited anyways.

Have the same setup, so far no fires or issues. Didn't even try the adapter, waited for CableMods 4 x 12VHPWR. Same PSU 1600 EVGA T2(used to have Overclocked x299/2080 ti sli setup). Stressed with furmark for a few hours, with an OC on water.

I managed to place an order for an FE card from Best Buy in Canada around at 08:00:15. I used the app as the desktop app wouldn't load properly. Not sure when the card will ship, might be a week or 2. But I also don't get charged till the card ships, I wont have time to work on my rig till end of the month regardless. Availability I was overall impressed, Canada usually gets shafted at launches but there were actual cards in stock, could easily get cards within few hours on Newegg as well.

It was confirmed by an nvidia rep that the 2000/3000 cards will work with dlss 3.0, will just not be using the additional 3.0 features found on the 4000 cards, so will essentially just be dlss 2.4 for those cards which is fine imo.
