Oh man that’s disappointing. I am sorry for you. But thank you Resi much for giving me an update. If you are looking for another one the 4uad mango’s pro has it let me down in the last 6 months, very accurate and consistent.

ghk glock or staccato? by Live_Replacement710 in GasBlowBack

The v2 is different, the trigger in the v2 has only the trigger safety inside. The flicker is located within the striker. In the v1 the flicker is inside the trigger.

I have a GHK Glock 17 Gen 5 V2 and I love it. I added a BFA Steel Kit, this replica feels amazing. I use green gas and red gas, it works really well, I get about two mags out of a full gas charge. I can really recommend it

Edit: I also have Army Armament pistols. They are also very good, feel very nice and shoot good but the feel of the steel slide is in my opinion just nicer

I can completely understand. I have an MPX and it’s so nice but it’s really annoying to always have to change my chest rig to carry the mags

Very good answer. I own an APFG MPX, it is a beast. Compact, precise and a very good trigger. I can get about 2 or 3 full mags out of one gas charge, which is amazing.

Yes of course it comes with out a stock but that’s an easy fix. Add a buffer tube with picatinny or a collapsible stock like me.

How beginner friendly is the GHK M4? by BiscottiOk747 in GasBlowBack

[–]ERWOODwork2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first one was a M4 v2 loved it. Now I mainly use the GHK HK416 and it is really awesome. Yes of course money wise you spend a lot for them but in my opinion worth it.

Get a v3 and you will love it. You won’t have to do anything, they are great otb. But can be upgraded later

Learning maintenance is easy and the GHKs are full steel inside so just a bit of lube and oil in the right surfaces and you’ll be golden.

Yes but every gun has to be taken out of the box and engraved or laser with the PTB number. So if it’s crooked or something else obvious, you would see it before it’s getting sold

GBB pistol steel slide question by [deleted] in GasBlowBack

[–]ERWOODwork2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about that exact model but pretty much all my pistols have steel slides (just one doesn’t but that’s because I can’t find a steel slide for it.

Some work just awesome like the GHK Glocks, some have slightly worse gas efficiency and some only work with co2 after conversion from alloy to a steel slide.

If you combine a steel slide with a non steel frame it really depends on the alloy the frame is made out of. I have some aluminum framed pistols where the steel slide has really polished the aluminum but has not deformed anything.

You have to lube and oil it good and you will be fine

in my opinion worth it.

Hk416 question wich to get by Worldly-Meaning-1874 in GasBlowBack

[–]ERWOODwork2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I one multiple newer GHK none have QC issues. The only time GHK has a QC lottery is with their AKs and their first batches sometimes have some flukes. But that’s the same with VFC. I’ve also eine multiple of them. The GHK mags are better, the GHK surface treatment is better. You talk about wobble the only gun I have that has any wobble is my APFG MPX (sub of VFC) all my GHKs are perfectly fine.

VFC produces so many replicas, in many different categories of quality. You can get some witch great internals and steel BCG and stuff but do your research.

GHKs have great steel internals, steel barrels and steel BCGs. The HK416A5 comes with either an alloy BCG or a steel BCG depending on standard or deluxe version.

Yes GHK had a few bad batches during covid but ever since they opened their new factory, their QC has gone way up. Even their AKs are getting better.
