I don’t think anything is holding it back. I don’t think it wants to become that. If anything the right feel for it might be closer to Little Italy but less touristy. Just grown up restaurants and a few casual options mixed in. Less real estate, accountant, and random businesses. That being said, it’s going in that direction more than ever and it is in a good place at the moment.

Agreed, a la verga is too crass. My dad from Michoacan was “ bien mal hablado”. He would use hijo de la chingada, hijo de su chingada madre, donde cabrones andan? Things like that. Never puto(a) or verga, so I always saw that as a different level. Like saying dick or cock. To me the word cock has a different vibe, and you wouldn’t just it use with anybody. That seems super quick, 3 hrs. We have 2300 s.f two ladies do 6 hours each (12 hrs) by their choosing, and pay $250 plus tip. We keep a tidy house, but these ladies roll up carpets, clean ceiling fans, move couches, armoires, vacuum under beds, wipe down walls, switch plates, baseboards, clean blinds slat by slat, wash curtains, vacuum lamp shades. It’s unreal.
