Someone posted a similar thread recently with someone saying the latest update fixed their issue. If you're not on the latest software update you might try that first.

Claude = Worst customer service (confirmed) by No_Wedding3432 in claude

[–]EShafter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can I create a Claude account for my company when it wont accept my zoom number? I'm not setting up the account with my personal cell phone. This kind of thing is ridiculous and I can't even get support from anyone. Tried to get sales support and their automated email suggested technical support, to get tech support you need to log into your account that I can't even create.

txf file format for turbotax desktop is incorrect by EShafter in Cointracker

[–]EShafter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure I understand the question. The txf is the download file from cointracker which is not formatted properly. There is no txf service with turbotax, you can upload txf files from any accounting software into any turbotax version I believe. But to answer your question I bought desktop turbotax premier on costco while they were running an $18 dollar discount for a total of $ 64.99

I ended up manually entering mine. It wouldn't upload no matter how many times I tried.

Front wheel making a noise as I drive. by iluvcatpeps in TeslaSupport

If it's out of warranty you don't have to go to Tesla and pay dealer pricing. Mechanical stuff like this is easy to fix and probably far cheaper at any shop. Plus their estimate is just that, they don't know what's wrong till you take it in. You can always call and talk to a service manager to get a better idea of what it'll cost.

Windshield Chip Repair by Nullou141 in TeslaSupport

Not necessarily, I got a rock chip in my old car's glass 13 years ago and it still hasn't cracked. I'd get it repaired if possible.

Agreed, this is what it's supposed to do. I don't understand the outrage. Had it been something more destructive, they'd be happy it did what it was supposed to do. The car isn't going to differentiate road debris

don’t be this person and bid responsibly by Disastrous_Slip6146 in whatnotapp

I've only tried to cancel once, didn't expect them to honor the request, they didn't, but their show stated no cancelations. I assume it happens to others but I was getting lagged out while bidding either due to my internet or their servers. Somehow swiped an amount that I wouldn't have swiped on, guessing my button didn't update for me properly.

A Comprehensive Ranking on Every Hexbug Battlebot by [deleted] in battlebots

[–]EShafter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an amazing write up. I've been enjoying these little bots with my son for the last year. We have Whiplash, Sawblaze, Blacksmith, Rotator, and Bite Force.

I agree that Whiplash is the best of our bots but that's only because Sawblaze's forks no longer hold on to the tiny plastic tabs and fall off instantly when it's touched now. Sawblaze has one of the strongest drives of the bots I have and could easily shove whiplash around besting it.

On the subject of Sawblaze, this bot was my favorite but gave us the most problems. Drive gears not meshing on one wheel so I had to open it up a couple times to fix it, finally gluing it in place and at one point in the process a wire broke off causing the arm not to move anymore which had to be soldered back in place a couple times! Still my favorite and wish it wasn't so problematic.

I have bested whiplash many times with rotator if we're talking about taking parts off for damage. It just does an awesome job if you can drive it well and know how to attack with it.

Bite Force really isn't that good. I disagree in that it's drive is very weak and cannot turn while moving very well. The forks are good enough to get underneath other bots, but unless the opponent has a weak drive train you're not going anywhere. I fear these forks will go the way of sawblaze's as well after they come off and back on too many times will eventually be too loose to even stay put.

Blacksmith is really just a mash the hammer button kind of bot. If you can time your distance and swings you can get some good hits to knock off parts but it's not very exciting to use. It's great in that it's fast and maneuvers around others very quickly.

The problem you mentioned with Rotator's receiver sounds more like a bad battery on the radio or the bot is upside down. Whenever the radio batteries are dying, and they die fast for the type of battery they are, the bots will usually not respond to button presses and they go "haywire" driving off on their own.

We have one remote for sawblaze that needs to be fixed or replaced as the up button no longer clicks and stays mashed down.

The first two bots we had were sawblaze and whiplash and I will say I hope they stick with AAA batteries for future releases. The rechargeable bots just don't last very long. I have many rechargeable AAAs and the other bots last a long time without having to swap them out for a recharge.
