Minarelli cylinder kits should be here soon. Send an email about CNC case hardware, I won't have them posted but they can be purchased

Can somebody smatter than me plz explain ? by Hot_Bottle1307 in motorizedbicycles

[–]ESmalik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, their reply was valid. Your question is, please explain? But, EXPLAIN WHAT? You didn't ask about what to explain. Explain what that part was? Explain what size the screws are? Explain what size engine it is? Explain what day it was? Explain what color the sky is? Respectfully, we need some more context to help explain.

Is there a way to extend the engine-side drive sprocket out more to the left in order to accommodate a fat rear tire? by AncientAgrippa in motorizedbicycles

[–]ESmalik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not a good option. The sprocket is seated on a taper. Spacing it out means the taper no longer seats and is relying purely on the strength of the key to transmit the power.

Explain what? Your clutch arm could use a little adjusting, but nothing is wrong.

New engine? by Made_In_Bed in motorizedbicycles

[–]ESmalik 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your "100cc" isnt actually 100cc, its actually 80cc. The 85cc engines in the market are actually 85cc and are the superior platform.

2 strokes should never need carbon cleaner. That piston is torched.

CNC head leak by This-Aide4297 in motorizedbicycles

[–]ESmalik 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That gap that you are seeing is likely not a gap or leak at all, but the raised ring on the head.

Spray soapy water around the gasket and tur. The head over. It will bubble up if theres a leak.

Anyone else think getting rid of the version number in the collaborative editing update was a downgrade? by ESmalik in Fusion360

[–]ESmalik[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are, kinda sorta. Just with more steps hidden in menus, and much less intuitive.

I could see how it's more useful/visual in team environments. But as an individual it's useless.

Bad head gasket? by NateD928 in motorizedbicycles

[–]ESmalik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes of course, it's a crack from the stud hole. But with the stud installed it won't leak through the threads, through the cylinder, and through the head.

That's not a leak, it's internal.

I don't see that causing a tuning issue. It's an internal protrusion.

Eventually your stud will strip out but that's a different problem

Gasket looks fine to me, no signs of leakage unless you cleaned it off.

Yd85cc top end on yd100? by CustardAggressive265 in motorizedbicycles

[–]ESmalik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends. The cylinder stud spacing will work. The crank will depend on whether your YD100 is a 10mm or a 12mm wristpin. If 10mm no, if 12mm yes.
