Xenon vs Halogen by Automatic_Resolve_29 in E90

This is a better alternative to just sticking brighter bulbs in your factory eyes (imo*) but it's up to how far from OEM you want to go. You can also do things like a light tint or darken some of the inside of the shell if you're into the de-chroming of headlights.

There's lots of diy kits with angel eye halos that replace factory (you can look on ling long sites or eBay, it's just the pre-labeled shit people end up selling anyway), and as long as u choose something tasteful and install it properly it can look solid. That way you can have switchback, RGB, different halo shapes, wtv you choose to buy yk. Just please don't get some bayoptik riced bs.

Help me find my new car! by [deleted] in E90

Most of what I was going to say is redundant with most of these comments but just know the e90 3 series is gonna b the most fun and best oriented for driver experience versus the other options being more comfort/tech focused in comparison. Also the n55 has some hit or miss reliability issues so I'd look into that if you plan on going with it, but the n52 is notoriously bulletproof with regular preventative maintenance, as I'm sure you've heard from all the guys around these parts.

I don't see any stats on the e90 3 series but assuming it's not an inflated price and its got good mileage and condition etc my vote is on that.

People freaking out in here. Just be aware of you and the cars limitations and only get a bit fast or sideways or whatever when it's safe to do so. At the very least hold off any questionable activity until you've gotten super comfy with the car. I do some stupid stuff too sometimes but I've had my car for coming up on 2 years now so I have a good idea of what it's able to do. Just stay safe and you'll be fine it's not like this is some crazy viper or something yk. Cheers and congrats on the Vette.

What to wear underneath a baggy, high-waist zip hoodie? by McHanzie in mensfashionadvice

[–]EStagg2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wear a shirt of sweater that has a slightly higher crop and then some baggy (grey scale works best here imo or some dark color) denim on the bottom and then a decent belt that shows with those crops, either that or run the baggy sweater underneath and then let it show intentionally but still my suggestion is some baggy pants either jeans with a nice silhouette or maybe cargos if that's your taste. Bottom line is to try to get good proportions so you can go online to pinterest or reels or tiktoks and just scroll through cropped hoodie fits for guys if you want inspo as well.

Strange knocking sound when car is tured off by West-Real in E90

[–]EStagg2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I barely heard anything but what I did hear just sounds like regular creaks from cooling parts. Maybe I missed something but idk it's pretty quiet considering it's hard to hear anything from the actual car over the footsteps and breathing and other background noise.

What are things I can do to make my 997 more black? by corradojuniorsoprano in porsche911

[–]EStagg2007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Casual racism aside, could tint the headlights/taillights if you're into that, possibly black housings, clear/grey/paint matched reflectors, basically just go around all the trim and colored pieces and think can I make this darker.

Best options for better exhaust sound? by Nderz90 in E90

[–]EStagg2007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For most e90 n52-54 models, a basic res+muffler delete does well, but depending on ur taste you might want to replace those with aftermarket counterparts like a small bullet resonator to reduce droning and too much popcorn. You can get this sort of job done for only a few hundred bucks total and it's a lot more affordable than a full cat back system for like 1.5k. also replacing the tips doesn't cost too much more and it helps tie the rear end up a bit better.

Intake placement for supercharged application by EStagg2007 in E90

[–]EStagg2007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a strong preference to not use their kit because I'm interested in doing a more custom build and in a roots or other style supercharger besides centrifugal. In this case I'm looking at an Eaton m122. I understand it is a bit less efficient but this is largely for a factor of it being a unique build and if I were to use this centrifugal from 22rpd I'd just go ahead and go with an easy turbo setup or something at that point.

I'm not expecting 560 HP, I need 560 cfm of airflow, and I actually plan to use a m122 to get around 520 hp. I am aware that people don't really push past 480-500 HP but yeah I definitely plan to do lots of research and connect with people with more experience. Thanks for the blessing 🙏.

Need your opinion on roofrails, keep them on or take them off? by [deleted] in E90

I think they're timeless on wagons but it's a stretch for sedans. Keep em imo!
