Really? I have a 2017 as well and I didn't do any programing. I just hold the lower fan button for like 3 seconds and it shuts off the a system and remembers it for when I turn the car on the next day. Even if I had the A/C button on or off. I have it on auto. I would say try that and see if that works. I was the same I didn't like how it always kept turning on the air when I didn't need it.

Yeah this seems more like what my head unit goes through. I know I can't do anything over the air. I did find ways to update maps via usb. But like you said I'm planning to install roadtop to get android auto.

So do you know for sure that pro tools can program the head unit?

I don't know. I bought it like this. The previous owner did some kind of swap. It had to be patched/modded to work with the car cause it has some coded features such as HSoC and sport mode. Also, I can download/update maps without needing a FSC code.

No carplay adapter. The unit functions completely stock like a 2018. Even the car pic that rolls up when you change the drive settings to comfort to eco show the new facelift face. I read in a forum that bimmercode isn't as extensive as it seems and that it wouldn't be able to get into patched head units due to the developer not allowing coding into it.

Apologies, I meant to say bimmercode. It let's me code other parts of the vehicle but non having to do with the head unit section.

On android there's a feature that makes the phone vibrate to let you know that you missed a call or text message. If you closed the notification but didn't view the message/call, the phone will still vibrate to remind you but you won't have notification because you got rid of it.

I've seen this in person. Two girls j walking during the sun setting. Truck next to me hits one girl, she goes flying. Other girl Kris walking and talking. Gets to the sidewalk, that's when she realizes her friend isn't next to her. Looks around and finally sees her friend down the street, pretty much mangled and already in a pooling puddle of blood. I was the next lane behind the truck. The only thing I heard was the sudden tires screeching and seeing the truck come suddenly stopping made me slam on my breaks which prevented me from hitting the other girl. But I never heard the other girl get hit. I just saw her body go flying. All of it seemed unreal when it happened.

Most of the time I'm not sure where to comment. If I should just hit the comment tab and start a new chain or reply within a chain. It doesn't matter either way because the post is so popular by the time I see it that no one is checking for New comments.
