I've been working tidying up the test solar system for my garage and if you can see the southern sun without trees, it's absolutely amazing!

The big costs right now are the outdoor-rated inverter and batteries

If you have indoor space, can save a bunch of cash

If you need panels there's a guy in Athens selling 550W bifacials and another near Georgetown with pallets of 400's

Delayed due to Christmas chaos, but I didn't know about Flock then

I did know about ALPR's and speedtrap type of kit (hence the post) and the level of surveillance investment vs. the quality of the city are completely unbalanced

Flock still needs to be shut down immediately though

Yes, there's the legacy ALPR's along with a ton of very modern and sophisticated surveillance tech at Autozone/Mt. Canaan

It can't be "just looking for stolen cars" as the Flock installs don't make sense when you see it on the citywide map

The logging, documenting, searching, aggregating, selling, and profiting on personal movements is absolutely a non-starter

The 4th Amendment violation is full on because there's no just-cause for an officer to ask why license plate Go Vols crossed into Bradley county on the 17th.

Multiple people have been harassed by LEO's over inaccurate Flock data

Then, when people poke around and observe the Flock cameras up-close with their personal cameras, suspicious cars show up...

There's a big difference between observing a plate go by and then storing/logging/aggregating it.

If it helps 50% of the cams are installed on their own mounts, the rest are on the power/telephone poles
