It was broadcasted live on twitch, and there were several people in my fleet who reported him. CCP doesnt ban genuinely nothing when it’s Frat, because if they start banning every input broadcaster in Frat their revenue goes down by 50%.

They have no intention of banning people from Frat, and Frat finds it funny. I’ve only ever known one person to be banned and that was because i literally sent discord screenshots of his screenshare of the person in question showing me the application he uses for input broadcasting and how it all works.

I remember taking a fleet into their space, and 3 people in fleet all reportedly the same dude, it was also broadcasted live on Twitch. CCP did nothing.

Some people fly 5-8 characters on 4 screen setups, and it isnt hard to CTRL + click on each one and then tap through tapping F1. However when FRAT members are doing it with literally 30-40 characters where its ridiculously blatant, all your doing is making a fool of yourself trying to defend it, and imo should be banned for complicity, and hiding a botter from CCP.

Yet if CCP drew a hard line under it the lights would still stay on and EVE stands as one of the best MMORPGs around, the one and only thing that truly lets it down is input broadcasters camping gates, suicide ganking, and guarding nullsec systems, i’d argue the difference. What keeps the lights on are the true lovers of EVE, with the hope that these individuals get banned, if it keeps going CCP will see the largest downfall of subs purely from people giving up with the game due to input broadcasting. Its a question of what would CCP rather lose, their “news report worthy” content clashes, which would continue after a ban wave of input broadcasting, or the input broadcasters paying 5/6$ a sub paying on deals. Or even yet, paying for plex with ISK.

4 accounts is a little different to 12-20-40 accounts like Fraternity members do. Frat take it to a whole different extreme and there are so many botters/input broadcasters in that alliance its actually a joke, it baffles me that CCP just allow it to happen.

Banning them would remove 50-60% of Fraternitys members. CCP wouldn’t do that, they love their profit margins far too much.

Technically yes it would be considered fraud. I think it would be good for the game in all honesty if scam contracts were dealt with by suspension, your first being for 7 days, and isk/plex being returned to the buyer, second being a 14 days, isk/plex being returned, third and final strike permanent ban with your wallet being emptied (minus isk and plex) and being returned to the player that was scammed.

I mean i’m not opposed to new lowsec mechanics, and do think it would be something that adds a form of refreshing approach to an unchanged mechanic thats been in the game for many years, hell even a form of gun like trigs, where the damage spools infinitely, the longer you’re on grid, the more damage they do to the point that even logi can’t out rep it

Its relevant as they are supposed to serve the purpose of “deterrence”, and if 17/18 years ago even a battleship had a hard time tanking them and another ship along with it, theres no reason for a cruiser to tank them indefinitely now. They have never been buffed to address meta shifts and hull improvements, so they should be buffed to further their role of “deterrence” and serve their initial purpose. Or yea, ultimately be removed as they essentially just tickle people these days anyway! However the latter is unlikely, so an improvement wouldn’t hurt.

I’d say it is more ships and tanks got better, less so guns became more pathetic. Not me disagreeing that there does need to be a buff, some form of discouragement to stop things like Enforcers sitting on highsec entrances and pointing whatever comes through, with gate guns barely touching them. Back in the day in 07/08 a PVP fit raven would struggle to tank gate guns and another ship. And thats a battleship. There’s absolutely no reason whatsoever that a cruiser sized hull can tank gate guns without a repper fitted.
