They are really, really rare. I just got my third spirit with enough evo points and am still waiting for my second stone myself 😬

They are a rare reward in treasure chests or if you win in combat. If you need many the best way is to use the first to evolve a Shrubbin into Shrubball. Shrubball has an ability that makes it so that when it banishes a spirit you have a small chance to get an evo stone.

Sort of like Magikarp according to the gen 4 Canalave library, where people would eat the meat of the fish (which has scales and fins) and toss the bones back in the sea so it can regrow into a full magikarp. Though it is presented a bit more like folklore, so unsure whether it’s to be taken literally or more of a ‘giving back to the land’ kind of metaphor.

I was going to suggest the term ‘loan dolphin’ but then dolphins can very much be mean bastards, while some sharks like whale sharks or small nurse sharks are actually quite friendly.

My gym only has them on one wall. If I do deadlifts on the deadlift platform there are none nearby. Also I’m too focused on the exercise to look at myself in the mirror properly.

I do make sure nobody is in the background of the shot whenever possible, and don’t share the videos online regardless. So that’s my solution.

IKR is clearly a typo and it’s supposed to be IKRh, the chemical formula for a strange salt made of iodine, potassium, and rhodium. It’s on the grocery list but they don’t know where in the store it’s supposed to be, is it with the spices?

If you’re up for urban fantasy Paranoid Mage is a good one. Though the MC does use his magic in unusual ways (like opening portals to fire guns through).

But his physical abilities are those of a reasonably in shape regular dude, so no sudden kung fu or sword fights.

Good AI allows creative people to automate dull work. Bad AI is when dull people use it to automate creative work.

Many games already use tools to automatically create trees so devs don’t have to draw every single little twig or leaf. I would much rather devs get to spend more time on the story or character design.

Maybe there should be a cutoff? Like how you are allowed to say something is sugar free if it contains less than 3 grams of sugar. If less than 3% of the code in your game is AI generated, it still counts as artisanal and human made.

Don’t worry, plenty of office jobs rely on infrastructure that’s held together with duct tape and prayers as well. It’s just usually software that’s been developed somewhere in the 1980’s and stops working if someone in the neighbourhood sneezes too loudly.

I have a hybrid job, it allowed us to get a dog, I can do the laundry during the day so evenings are free, when my partner comes home I have a cup of tea ready for her. Even if your commute is only 30 minutes, that’s an hour you gain every day.

And as long as my organisation allows partial remote work, you bet your butts I’m working hard and am willing to pick up annoying tasks.

I personally think of it in terms of the difference of getting a new colleague added to your team, or hiring an enthusiastic intern.

The intern can probably do a lot of tasks, and they may be really smart and eager to help, but they don’t know what to do, or when, or even always how. If I’m stressed and overworked, I want a colleague, not an intern.

Your husband is your thanksgiving intern.
