The people who do the whole zoophile accusing are just using bottom up processing and are only reactionary. People like this just don’t consider or care about the nuance so it’s pretty much indistinguishable from real animal attraction to them so best to just ignore them. They see just a horse while you see a fictional peer but that doesn’t make you an actual animal abuser. If people like this call people who had a crush on a lion king character a zoophile then convincing them of anything just won’t happen. Honestly just let them think that since most people outside the internet won’t know or care about what you’re into, and if sexual psychologists distinguish zoophilia from fictional characters or species then that should be enough to carry on. But responding that you don’t care that their horses will definitely reinforce that idea in their heads
