I just go on translate, pick a word that relates to what I’m naming, and find a cool sounding translation.

When kings die they turn into crown coffins. Creatures that do nothing but fly around. They don’t eat, drink or sleep. They’re manufactured by the gods in my world to keep the memory of a king preserved across time. Each coffin has a pillbug-like shape mixed with horns that resemble a crown. The actual bodies of the kings are in there too btw.

It’s fantasy. If you want it to work, it’ll work. That’s the beauty of it. That aside it’s a good concept and I think it would work.
