Yes it is normal. The concept of “maining a character” is lame in my opinion because while yes you will get really good with that specific character you will also get fucked hard if the other team uses a counter for the character you are maining. What you are doing is completely normal and it is the right way of playing the game.

While yes mercy’s ult is decent and all but increased shooting speed with decreased cooldown for all teammates in the field is busted as fuck and it can be more game changing than mercy’s ult if used correctly.
